Camped here with our motorhome with friends. Good facilities with baths perfect after a days walking. Good food served in the pub. Bus stop just outside but we just used taxi's as there was six of us. Loved the area and the great beers.

second time i have stayed here. Rang Saturday morning for a pitch for tent and good to go. Just getting back into walking and camping so wanted somewhere out in the sticks but also wanted my creature comforts and this place ticks all the boxes. As with my first time where the shower/toilet block was warm and spotlessly clean. I was ok but a few others had got wet and they have a tumble dry so you can wash and dry your kit. All staff are very welcoming and you are made to feel like it your local pub. Beer spot on. Food was excellent. Saturday night had the kebab platter with my partner and Sunday had a roast dinner for tea. Got told Sunday was a bit of a wait because busy but food out quickly and well worth the wait for the dinner. Pork was cooked beautifully and the veg etc was piping hot and tasted great. I live 45 mins away from here but shall be taking the drive up some Sunday's just to have the roast dinner. Just hope that Bev and Simon can open a chain across the Pennine Way for all to enjoy. I shall be returning on a regular basis in the future.

Booked a room this weekend and was impressed by the quality of the room, each room is very large and roomy with a high ceiling with beams.
The ensuite was immaculate , good powerful shower and loads of hot water to boot and I'll say it never took an age for the hot water to run through. Good quality fluffy towels as well!!!
Tea, coffee and biscuits supplied in the room
LCD telly on the wall with a supplied, can't comment on what's on but the usual channels I'd suppose, But why would you want to watch telly when you can go down the pub and sample some of the fine ales and have something to eat!!!
I just had the breakfast, which was excellent - Good quality bacon, Sausage, egg, Black pudding, mushies, beans , tomato , hash brown and toast. Of course, cereals , pastries and other things are available.
Would recommend this place to stay no problems!

I arrived at The Carriage House at about 5pm on the Saturday afternoon of the 2017 jazz festival in pouring rain from overcast skies, fearing the worst, but instead opened the door to a fantastic band (4gottenfunk), everyone on the floor and all singing along. As one of the staff said the next day, "they were right brilliant." An unforgettable experience. And, as a camper, I really appreciated being able to have a hot bath before going to sleep ... and when I woke up! Also a free jazz bus service down to the village. Plus, good cask ales and proper crisps. Highly recommended.

Fantastic views and well kept ale, the food was excellent and very reasonable. Not bad for a place we only decided to visit last minute.

A super place set in Marsden moors, below Pule Hill. The Carriage House is a pub, restaurant and it also has a camp site at the back. The views over the moors are amazing with the light constantly changing. There is a conservatory so that you can see out even when the weather is bad. The beers are well looked after and the Turkish food speciality is delicious! English food and bar snacks available too. Weather permitting you can sit outside and enjoy the scenery. Karaoke at weekends. Classic vehicle shows every so often too. Bev, Simon and staff are very welcoming. If it's busy you do have to wait for food, but it's worth waiting for. Good helpings as well. Excellent stopping place if you're riding a bike up the long hill out of Marsden! Well worth a visit.

Stopped for a drink here on a cycle ride just before Marsden. Seemed a nice place and we sat outside in the sun. Had a nice rest after we'd climbed the massive hill to get there!
