All you can eat, buffet style breakfast at Toby Carvery has to be one of my favourites. Always a good selection of breakfast foods to create your own fry-up. You can even get a yorkshire pudding and gravy. However, the food can go cold if you’re not quick to start eating. Overall it’s a very well priced place, good sized meals, with a variety of drink options too. There’s also plenty of parking, and an outdoor area.
Called in after visiting relatives. I had the Turkey carvery Yorkshire pudding, veg and gravy. It was all hot and very tasty. We were served by Callum who cleared our table and asked if everything was ok and did we want a desert. Very polite and friendly. We will be back in soon. Thank you x
Enjoyed lovely carvery here with my friends for a catch up natter. All staff served with a smile and were very cheerful and helpful. Will certainly meet up here again.
Family get together, we booked for 7 people then needed to add 3 more and had no problems doing so, the staff were very friendly and helpful and regularly asking if we needed anything, we all had the carvery which was excellent, 5 choices of meats and a very good selection of vegetables dishes with a good size Yorkshire pudding, would definitely recommend and look forward to returning
Staff was lovely and very efficient nothing was too big to ask of them but at same time they knew when to leave us be. Great work guys, will defo be visiting again! Loved the choice of food also this time definitely noticed a variety of veg and always like to see a little change from previous visits to keep it from same old things 😁
The pub was really busy due to having a discount available to some customers. We didn’t book a table as usually it’s not busy, when we arrived we were told an hour wait for a table or we could sit at one of the tables in the bar area. We chose the bar area, the table was cleaned as we sat at it, the queue for the carvery was basically none existent, the carvery was friendly as was the bar lady. The food was all great, the only disappointment was the lack of parsnips and onions.

Breakfast stops at 11 so we just made it! There were a few after us so they aren't too strict on the cut off time.
There was still plenty of choice, although the black pudding looked very dry, and there was no scrambled egg available. The hash browns could have done with a little more colour on them, but that's just personal taste.
Prices have gone up a little since the last visit. The food was excellent as usual and fast service. Staff, friendly, polite, and nothing too much trouble. Highly recommended. Whilst there, I blacked out and collapsed. The staff looked after me and gave me the help needed. Can't thank the staff enough for taking care of me, especially the young female with glasses who was on the reservations desk. Many thanks

Arrived at 6pm, without booking, on a Saturday after a lovely walk around Scammonden Reservoir. We were shown to a table and ordered a couple of drinks. A young waitress called Laura looked after us. Although the restaurant was very busy, she didn’t get flustered at all. It was obvious that she loves her job and she’s a credit to the Toby. Nice to meet such a pleasant young lady.
