Went here early afternoon and was fairly quiet. Had a good selection on tap as well as bottles behind the bar and cocktails.
They have outdoor seating, a pool table and darts. As well as live sports playing.
Good value in a decent location out of the busy town centre.

Amazing staff. Landlords are absolutely brilliant. Drinks deals are the best around! As for a night out I've spent many times in this place living my best life.

First time we have been in for at least 5 years,very professional attitude of lady behind bar will be calling again.
Has just opened again after an excellent sympathetic (at last!) refurb. Serving 5 well kept cask ales, and soon to be doing an extensive hot pie menu. Definitely worth trying again if you're a local who had stopped going, or of course if you haven't visited before.
