I was looking for a place where I can get an Egg benedict and this place shown up on my radar as one of the best places in Huddersfield to get one. I must say that I was really surprised as I walked past it for years but never entered. The atmosphere is amazing and staff are really friendly.

Stumbled on this place by pure accident while looking for a parking spot. Decided to try it out, been back three times now! Food is always great, friendly service and welcoming atmosphere. Must try! You won't be disappointed.
Some pre-gig carbs were required and Lost Property did not disappoint! We had 2 Gentleman’s Afternoon Teas and a Grazing Board for 2 delivered. It was superb as usual and this consistency in quality makes Lost Property the perfect choice for entertaining at home! Thank you Team LP!!
Had an amazing afternoon tea with my daughter for my 66th birthday and retirement. Food is always bountiful and delicious.
I met 6 friends here for breakfast celebrating my 40th birthday and couldn't have had a better start to the day. The food was insanely good and service was friendly and efficient. Can't wait to return!

Great little indie cafe with a good menu. Had avocado smash on sourdough with a poached egg on top and some nice feta. Servers were friendly and helpful and the place was busy. Folks on the next table had an afternoon tea which looked yummy.

Nice little coffee shop with some nice food just off the main high street in Huddersfield. Surprisingly the cafe also serves wine if you want. Also the menu covers breakfast, lunch and tea so feel free to go at any time of the day within opening hours.
Fabulous quality food and staff. We collected afternoon teas for a family occasion, as we have several times before and it was perfect as usual. Eating in the restaurant is a great experience, always book ahead as it's really popular!
Great food and plenty of it, attentive and pleasant staff and nicely decorated place. The only thing stopping 5* across the board was how loud the doorbell is (we were sat under it), and it certainly tells you when someone enters haha overall brilliant.
We had a Tipsy Tea here and it was amazing! The food was delicious, a great selection and the cocktails were so beautifully presented and amazing 😍 the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely decor, we will definitely go again 🥰

Absolutely delicious, first time eating here but not the last, I had the crispy bacon brie and cranberry ciabatta which came with fries and slaw, definitely recommend.
My absolute favourite place for afternoon tea. Really stunningly presented too. Food is all so gorgeous and you get a great variety. The new premises is beautiful and much more space too.
Great place, great food. Had the english breakfast and recommend. Plenty of other really good options. Tea trays looked pretty good too. The staff was helpful and nice.
