Merrie England Coffee Shop - Huddersfield - Photo album

Great coffee shop located in the heart of the town centre, in the packhorse. There are many tasty delights on offer including the almond tart, which was so tasty. The service was good, nice staff. The place did look a little dated but nevertheless a cosy feel.
Staffs are friendly. Prices are not. No disabled toilet as the facilities are up two flights of stairs and have only standard doors. Had only small coffee and scone (small).
I was at the Packhorse Centre, Merrie England coffee shop. Excellent service, great coffee and the bacon and tomato sandwich was delicious. Always a good visit and love the cool new doors. Keep up the good work; merrie.
Came across this little Tudor-esk hideaway cafe, nice and quiet. Called in for coffee and an Eccles cake. Delicious and staff very nice.
Lovely old fashioned place that hasn't fallen for the trendy modern look. Staff very friendly, sandwiches as good as they used to be when I first came to Huddersfield over 40 years ago. Coffee is a bit weak unless you ask for a strong one. Don't change a thing. We need this option.
Merrie England is a nice place to meet for light lunches or just a coffee.
Always love my sandwiches from merrie England. Been going for years and they've always been spot on. Thankyou
Clean, reasonable food but a bit pricey
Very good. Fresh made sandwiches and hot drinks. Somewhere you will keep going back to
Nice cosy little cafe, albeit limited menu.
Excellent beef sandwich, friendly staff and decor that hasn't changed since the day it opened!
