The pub owner was extremely kind and accommodating to my two daughters who are on their Duke of Edinburgh silver award today. As they were sat outside (before the pub opened) they were offered drinks and snacks and bathroom break if needed by the gentleman opening up.

Visited here after a walk out on the Yorkshire Wolds with the dogs. Half of the pub is dog friendly and the other half is for those without their furry friends. Very nice food served, all in good time and piping hot! Friendly staff too, more than willing to chat about the local area and the weath
Superb quality food, great service in lovely surroundings. Well worth a visit.
We popped in for lunch (phoning ahead first just to make sure there was space), we both ended up going for the pork chops as they sounded very interesting. See pictures of the menu.

Set in the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds in Huggate. The ideal place for a pint and a meal after a pleasant walk. Good atmosphere, dogs allowed in the bar. Decent beer, nice food.
Our experiences at the wolds inn have been nothing but outstanding and so very welcoming and warm. The two lovely young girls who work there go above and beyond to make our time there so enjoyable. The service, even down to remembering what drinks we prefer is an element within the catering industry
We ate from the 3 course Sunday menu and the food and service were both amazing. The portion sizes were very good and the quality was superb, also very reasonably priced. We booked a table in the bar area for 6 people and a dog and we can’t wait to go back.
