I rang and booked a table to for Sunday lunch an hour before hand,very welcoming,great portion sizes and all food was tasty,we had starters and roasts for main,we were to full for pudding. We stayed in The Sett, an ideal family room for the four of us. Clean, with plenty of towels and bathroom products. We received the loveliest welcome .... would highly recommend and hope to return soon!
Had a wonderful lunch here on Wednesday it was delicious and the service from the lovely lady serving was super too ! Well worth a visit . We all had fish in cider batter and chips they were really excellent. The coffee was amazing too !

We stopped for lunch. And we are so glad we did. Great food, very welcoming and wonderful staff. Would highly recommend the Tally Ho. As we didn't stay we haven't an experience of the rooms but if we had stayed I am convinced we would have been very comfortable

A really decent community owned pub, we were immediately welcomed and offered advice on the beers at the bar, good to see local beers on offer too. Comfortable surroundings, light and airy considering many period beams etc.
