Went for a walk around local marsh - apparently there are kingfishers in the area sometimes. Saw plenty of kites and a plethora of little birds.
Needed tea - this place is open until 5pm on Sunday.
Stopped for tea, machiato, coffee cake and caramel slice - plenty of butter cream and hint of raspberr
Has a nice personal local feel about it, friendly efficient servoce.
I had a gorgeous pot of whole leaf Earl Gray tea. No tea bags here.

5* for vegan carrot and walnut cake, really delicious! Moist and not too sweet and seems to be available in all their coffee shops. Well done coffee#1 for offering such great vegan cake!

I like the size and space of the shop. It feels open yet still warm and welcoming. It is refreshing to have seating that is not all uniform, and the decor is a little quirky which again is a nice change from the typical chain offering. The coffee is good and the service is friendly. Worth a visit
Great coffee, nice cakes etc and decent service so why only 3 stars...? Because they are SOOOOO slow at clearing tables!!! My god the place looked like a dump when i went in 11.30am in on sunday the13/03/22. Every table and i mean EVERY table had used crockery on them and absolutely no one clearing
My cycling club stopped here for drinks and cake. There was around 12 of us and we were all able to be seated together. Coffee and cakes were great.
Arrived by bike on a very hot day. Server was pleasant and the coffee and cheesecake was good. Service was a tad slow despite being quiet.
