We went and had Sunday lunch, all had Lamb shanks and all the trimmings, the best meal ever, everything was so tasty. The service is so friendly and the atmosphere is so relaxing.

I love a tea room... But we dropped on the lovely plave by chance while having a 2 day break in heasham. It is absolutely beautiful with lovely friendly staff.. In particularly a very pleasant blonde lady who was very welcoming. The cakes looked superb but I opted for a traditional fruit scone... Which was beautiful and served lovely and warm. I wish I lived more local because I would be a regular customer of yours. When I return to Hunstanton I will certainly visit this one of a kind tea room. Thank you for a lovely experience.

We were a party of 7 and they were so accommodating with finding us a table. Food is outstanding (kids loved the nachos!) and cakes etc were delicious. They went out of their way to bring us extra hot water/milk etc for the tea. You must reserve a table to avoid disappointment. Can’t wait to return next month.

A quintessential English tea and cake restaurant. Also serve fresh hand made sandwiches and lovely coffee too. An excellent experience helped by great staff and interesting interior decor. Well worth a visit. They do a great afternoon tea but you will need to book in advance.

Popped in for lunch as it looked so quaint (I am not a Yank), and was very pleased we did. Great decor and ambiance, 1950s theme, appropriate music and volume being played, lovely china and place settings, and not too squashed in. Very friendly, jovial staff and a simple but adequate menu. All our food was fresh and tasty (jacket/sandwich/baguette/scones), lovely tea and coffee and reasonably priced. Fruit scones were good, bit heavy but tasty but only whipped cream rather than clotted. Small selection of cake but they looked fresh and yummy. Will most certainly be back on our next trip to the sea side!

A lovely traditional tea room which serves freshly made sandwiches with crisp salad, delicious cakes and the the best of cream teas. Berni Beans is now on the menu for every visit to Hunstanton!

We always like to try a new cafe, but were unimpressed with this. Everything was OK, not great. We heard the waitress say that cakes are cooked weekly (this may have referred to a particular type, we did not hear the full conversation) but that was enough for us to decide not to return.

In Hunstanton to visit the theatre and popped in for tea at the Berni Beans cafe on the corner of the High Street. I had nocticed it before while vsiting the town but this was the first time I had tried it. The afternoon tea was lovely and the place was busy and seemed popular with both locals and visitors, I would recommend anyone visiting Hunstanton to give it a go as you will have a great experience.

We popped in on a school holiday lunch time to be greeted by a full house and a welcoming atmosphere. Unlike some other places we were not turned away but accommodated on a lovely little table in the middle. The cafe has a vintage charm with lots of curiosities to catch the eye, the eclectic mix of fine china adds to this unique feel instantly transporting you to a different time. Being a family with two young children we were a little daunted by the full experience price but we needn't have been as they offered four afternoon teas of sandwiches, warm scones, crisps and endless tea (J20 for the picky one!) For £40, more than competitive for anywhere else locally. The food like the atmosphere was excellent, despite being busy it all came quick and fresh and under no pressure to finish up. A relaxing delicious lunch enjoyed by all of us. Thank you, we will definitely return!

Enjoyed a lovely mini afternoon tea (£10) in this busy traditional tea room. I was visiting on my own and there was only a table for four left however I felt very welcome, the staff were friendly and attentive with a beautiful ambiance. I shall definitely visit again when in the area.

Very friendly place. Like an old fashioned tea room should be. Customers came in just as it closed but they were made to feel welcome and allowed to stay which is rare these days

Popped in for tea and cake. The carrot cake was lovely and the kids enjoyed their crumpets and hot chocolate. Quirky decor and friendly serset service.

We absolutely love Berni Beans! We don’t have one bad thing to say about it :) We first found this in March at the beginning of the year and we couldn’t wait for our return this month! It was the first place we went when we arrived! As always the service was amazing. All the staff are so friendly, kind and polite! Especially Amanda who goes above and beyond for you with nothing being too much trouble :) the food is always delicious! We had the chilli Nachos (which is a firm favourite of mine!) and the mini afternoon tea which was delicious. Can’t wait for our return at the start of next year! Thankyou for making our visits so special!

What a gem! I have just enjoyed a fresh-out-of-the-oven scone, jam and cream with a cafetière of delicious coffee. This all in a really well thought out vintage setting, reminiscent of my grandmother’s house in my childhood. Plush decor, fine bone china, lace cloths etc. I had a lovely chat with the owner Amanda, altogether a lovely experience. This is a must for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea!

Having had cream teas, it was a matter of time before we tried their Sunday lunch. We booked the 2.00pm slot which was perfect for us and with the restaurant not quite full, we had a choice of tables. Despite the limited menu, the home cooking was Devine. Very well presented by the lovely Angie, who despite my best efforts refused to run away with me. Lovely food and lovely service.

Called in late on a wet afternoon with dogs and sat outside. Great service, great scones, huge pot of tea and the dogs hot treats. Will definitely be back

This has to be a hidden gem of Norfolk. The best roast on the coast just like your mum used to cook I would recommend booking in advance as this hidden gem is becoming more discovered. Could not fault the food or the service absolutely exceptional the staff are so friendly and welcoming but not just for a Sunday roast I have visited on many occasions be it in the week or weekend and faultless every time I would highly recommend whether for afternoon tea which again I have had the pleasure of experiencing which was superb or even just a pot of tea you will not be disappointed
