Honestly i cannot fault this place, the staff are all friendly and very attentive, the tables are spacious so you are not sat on top of each other, the menu choice is brilliant. The food itself was cooked as ordered, well presented and tasted amazing. The prices are a little steep but you definitely get what you pay for here. A must visit for steak lovers.
Fantastic quality food, Definitely worth the money. Wide choice of both food and drinks, something for everyone. Also very covid19 safe with a well explained one way system. Would recommend
Fantastic place. We stayed in Thirsk and a few locals recommended that we visit for breakfast. Glad we did, it was superb. We had dogs so we opted to sit outside on the large front patio. Would certainly recommend. Only slight issue we had was the ashtrays on the outside tables, overflowing with cigarette buts. We don't smoke, but perhaps these should have been emptied before opening.
Had lovely food, was extremely pleased with the gluten free options. Seevice was very good, staff were attentive, happy to help and cheerful 🙂
Food was amazing, room was excellent and the staff were great. Nice walks around the area and there is a lovely campsite down the road.
Visited for a birthday treat and what a treat it was. Possibly the best steak I've ever had. It's not cheap but with food that good I wouldn't expect it to be. We will definitely be back.
Don't be put off by the modern building and tacky looking cow. The staff are helpful. Decor pleasant and food is excellent. Slightly more than we normally pay but the quality was higher.
Absolutely beautiful meal here and even had my favorite beer on tap!

Omg the steak was quite possibly the best i have had. Porter house with 2 sides. Definitely worth a look in if your a meat eater.....
Food was really nice. Bit pricey, but nice.
Hotel room were really good. Only problem, the exit was through the bar. The door was locked until 09.00hrs. That meant we were trapped with no access to our cars. There was an alarmed emergency exit door but at 07.30 it was a bit early for an evacuation. That really let the whole experience down a wee bit. They also charged for a coffee refill with breakfast. A bit tight considering.
We visited several times during our camping weekend as only 5 minutes away. They have a spacious outdoor seating area at the front and dogs can sit in the bar if it's raining.
We had a lovely meal each time and the
breakfast menu was very tasty served until 11 am. The service was friendly and efficient and even brought us water for our dogs.
Wife and I went for a meal out together and we weren’t disappointed. Food was fantastic and although they were short staffed managed to ensure the service in the majority was speedy. Setting was great to, smart and comfortable although it did feel slightly out of place in the little village. Definitely worth a visit, booking advised but be willing to spend a bit of cash.
Stayed there for two nights. Rooms lovely, very clean and very comfortable. Staff couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was great and served til 11am. Had Sunday lunch with the family of 10 including small children. Lunch was excellent and we sat outside in the sunshine whilst it was being cooked in the lovely seating area. Made it a much more relaxed especially for the children. Would definitely recommend and return.
We have just had an amazing meal. It's the first time we have been and it did not disappoint. The waiting staff were friendly and efficient. My husband and I had the sharing platter for two and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Our friends were very pleased with their choices too. The chocolate bomb was a real treat and my husband enjoyed the eton mess. We will definitely be back. Thankyou so much.
Very tasty food, well prepared and well presented. Not cheap but worth the price.
Social distancing and cleanliness fantastic. Food was phenomenal and excellent value for money. 3 courses for £15 and the steak was literally melt in the mouth. Will definitely be back and intend on bringing the family when I can
