Love coming here I’m a regular the food is always brilliant staff are great. Drinks prices are very good for what you get. Large car park that’s now not trashed by macdonals.

Came here last night from London seeing an old friend who recommended this place.
Service was on point, bar staff were great and the food was top notch.
Had our 3 year old son with us, more than happy to let him wander about and have a good time.
Would definitely return next time I’m in the area.

Had a lovely all you can eat breakfast on Sunday at 9am. Food was lovely and service was amazing! Yvonne was the host on this day, she was so very lovely and had an amazing singing voice. All aspects of the visit were spectacular. We will definitely be returning ☺️ x

Although a good welcome when I attend with service users I support. I would like to praise one of the cleaners. I visited recently with one of my service users who just wanted to say hello . She introduced herself as Sandra, not only did she reply in a friendly manner she took time to engage which had a positive full filling effect on my service user..Also the standard of cleanliness was exceptional. What a credit she is to mottram wood.

Went out with my friend, who I've known almost 59 years. Had a fantastic carvery and the service was brilliant. Great place and staff. Not changed at all, still good service and staff. Better now it's been done up and carveries are still nice.

Not the most consistent pub.
Food can sometimes be good, sometimes not as satisfying. Same goes for wait times and staff.
That being said, I'm writing this review as Chris, I think his name is, has taken great care of us on multiple occasions and always checks in and makes sure everything is alright. Great guy!
Also the breakfast staff working on this past weekend (blond woman in charge and a guy who seemed to be new perhaps?) were also very friendly and deserve to be complimented.

Thought i’d pop in for a pint and some food with friends, and although the food wasn’t amazing the customer service was great. Felt a bit bad for one of the girls cleaning up, she was tall with short red-brown hair and said her name was Nicole I believe. It seemed like she was doing everything but she still had a good laugh with us and helped with keeping our table clear.
All in all was a good pub atmosphere with lovely staff.

Visited last night. Football was on great atmosphere. Drinks prices are around average. Large car park and hotel next door. Staff friendly and service as you would expect. We had the carvery well presented and very good choice. All fresh would come back and visit again. Cracking little place to stop off.

I came on Sunday it was really really busy but the manager managed to fit me and my friends in. There was a que at the bar but that was expected for how busy it was. Not a long wait just a small wait. Food was great again a small wait but for how busy it was we expected it. The car park is much better now you can actually park. We enjoyed the new Malibu drinks would defiantly try them. We visit all the time and we never have any issues here food is always great the staff are really nice and I fully enjoy coming with friends.

Had breakfast and dinner on both days and socialised in Mottram Wood Pub.
Great venue, friendly and welcoming staff

In an excellent location between the A57 and the M67 and ideally situated if travelling to Manchester Airport. Opposite to a Tesco superstore with long opening hours. The restaurant has a wide selection of foods to suit all tastes and pockets, served freshly cooked and nicely presented. There is a range of beers wines and spirits to please everyone, alcohol free drinks are also available. Well worth a money saving visit if travelling to the airport. Free car parking with disabled spaces.

First time we attended the SEN session and it was fab. So many activities for them to do, sensory toys on every table, craft area with kinetic sand and playdough, outside area open and then there is the play. We ate whilst we were there, fab carvery and lots of choice for kids (my son was so busy playing that they gave us a takeaway box and he ate it in the car on the way home). Wasn't to busy, it gave us the opportunity to meet other parents and children which was lovely. Would recommend and will definitely be regulars there. One member of staff to mention - Nicola who was wonderful with us all, but especially the children when they welcomed her into their world and she just played along - it was all so natural so thank you for such a great experience ❤️

i popped in on my way home from a conference in Manchester. The pub its self is clean and tidy in appearance. The workers all had the same uniforms and seemed to be friendly and polite. it had a very local feel to it most people knew each other but that was fine as most spoke to me at the bar etc and were really welcoming and nice. i decided to stay over next door and the rooms were clean and tidy also. food was as expected as was breakfast. i enjoyed my visit and would defiantly come and stay again. outside looks very nice for a summer day out in the beer garden.

Stayed in Premier Inn and breakfast was as you would expect.
Staff were warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble especially the young lad Chris at breakfast who was continually checking everything was right.
The lads the night before were just as friendly and attentive.
