The fish and chips are lovely, the batter is not too thick and the fish is nice and thick. Mushy peas are nice too. It's well worth a visit. The service is good too and the staff are friendly, and it's spotless.
One of the only local chip shops thay offer gluten free foods all the time! Food was beautiful and we can't wait to return for another taste 😋
Had some take away fish and chips and not bad at all - the chips were a little limp but overall decent enough food at an average price point.
Working in the area, we used the CoOp and found this chippy right next door. Plenty of parking. You must try the Potato fritters, good portions and not greasy.

Lovely food, warm and great choice. Good service and no wait. Great that it's one of the only local chip shops open on a Sunday. Most food cooked to order so some wait time but expect a better quality of food. Only downfall is that it's a little more pricey than other chip chops.
Chips and fish good quality and big portion. I was a bit shocked at the charge of 30p for ketchup. In all my years visiting fish and chip shops this must be the first time I've been charged and its not exactly cheap, although they do give an ample portion. I don't expect businesses to give anything
Hi can i just say you need to alter the opening times on here! It says 'OPEN' when you aren't as I've just gone to come in and door was shut and on the door its saying 4.30 !!

The first time we used this place, the chips were a bit meh. Second time around - wow! A bit of a wait, but all food had to be cooked from fresh.

Visited Queens as they cater for Gluten-free every day of we tried it on a Friday, the wife had GF Scampi n Chips n mushy peas I had the GF cod. It was all very good freshly cooked separate GF menu and friers and the place itself is spotless you can also eat in.
Would recommend.
My partner is celiac and missed her fish and chips for several years before finding Queens, she is also very cautious regarding possible cross contamination but has no fears here as everything is prepared and cooked totally separately by a team that knows exactly what their doing.
