We visited for a 12th birthday meal on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t that busy. The selection and range of food was outstanding! My personal favourites were the lamb, chicken tikka masala, ribs, tender stem broccoli. It took way too long to refill some of the more popular items and for a big group this was annoying. We were a table of around 20-25 people so we were plonked at the back of the restaurant. The majority of tables wobble which is not nice while eating and I couldn’t be asked to wedge the base. The refillable drinks were a nice touch but I feel that the price should be lower for children. Strawberry Mojito was fantastic!
The happy birthday song that is played is extremely dry. There should be the standard classic version and for people who want a bit of bounce, play the Stevie version! Toilets were ok but there is definitely a drain issue which doesn’t smell pleasant. Overall 7/10

We had a lovely birthday meal today after missing it for 3 solid years! Everyone we met was so friendly, the lady at the welcome desk, the gentleman who led us to the table, and the staff who tidied the plates. There's a variety of food and you could ask for prawns and lamb at the cooking station. All in all, we will go again.

Came to London for the weekend just to go to this place. Very large selection of food and what I have had was good. The only thing I would say is a bit lacking on dessert considering the amount of savoury choice. Perhaps more fruit options too as I personally only like the grapes in the selection. Maybe have strawberry and bananas that aren't covered in custard and sprinkles..?

I have never been disappointed there, went 5 times with family/ friends/ office in different occasions. Always recommended. Best wishes!🌸

The reception takes a long time to check-in.
The toilets are very dark. Seriously, not enough light. Like a dark cave or something. The kids didn't like it at all. It is also painted in dark colours which adds to the darkness.
I would redesign it completely.
Toilets should be welcoming, light, and clean. They are part of restaurant service, not a necessary must.
I understand, that the whole restaurant is designed with a dark theme but If they want to keep the dark theme at least they should add more light above toilet cubicles. So they are not scary for kids to go in.

Varieties of Oriental and continental dishes with varied deserts options. Live station of dumplings, lamb chops. Kids friendly, costs 22/person on weekdays. I would say it's expensive comparing to Jimmy's. Over all taste was good Nd average. Friendly staffs and bottomless drink additional £3.50. clean rest room. Room space was bit less. It was crowded. Pan Asian food available!

This was such a cool place to eat..was spoilt for choice with all the different Asian food, plus sea food, steaks, pizza..only thing i could complain is if your elderly or disabled you will have a job serving yourself..there is no trolly to wheel along..There is a lift for wheelchair access here.
I will definitely go back some day.

The restaurant was clean and with aircon so it was very comfortable to have lunch. The food was really good but they didn’t have too many other options apart from Chinese/Thai. The price is good as well. We will definitely be back!

Excellent set of menu….a lot of variety of foods… love the place…customer service was not great..they do not fill up the empty pots immediately…they even charge for a 2 years old kids if they are taller than 90cm.

JRC provides buffet food. The food is wide and varied, it includes Indian food, Chinese, Thai and European. The food is cooked and placed underneath lamps to keep it hot. Due to the nature of a buffet, it is self service. The advantage of self service is being able to pick food that you like. A few dishes are cooked "while you wait". It is a large restaurant and well laid out. The food was tasty and I ate too much of it!
Alcoholic and soft drinks are available, but there is an additional charge for them.
The restaurant is located on the first floor of a "Tower Block", entrance is via an escalator. The exit is via a lift.
The cahiers/welcoming staff were friendly and helpful.
We arrived about 5pm on a Saturday and there was a small queue (6 people) waiting to enter. When we left to go home, there were about twenty people waiting to enter.
Would I go there again? Yes, but not on a regular basis. I prefer a restaurant that specialises in one style of food and has waiting staff. We went to JRC for my daughter's birthday and she enjoyed it, that's what matters.
On a final note, there's another buffet restaurant in Romford. I believe JRC provides a better selection of food (having visited both).
JRC is clean and modern.
Disabled access, yes via the lift.

Great place. Good line up for international food. For Indian food I believe that Jimmy's has a better line up. Don't get me wrong, Indian food is not bad here, it's just that the variety is much better at Jimmy's. Parking is behind at Clement road which is convenient.

Absolutely amazing amount of options for food.
It is always lively in there sometimes you can't hear yourself think it's a matter of opinion weather your into that kind of atmosphere or not but it goes to show how busy the place gets and how popular it is. The staff are always making sure options of foods are topped up when finishing and it's a great place to have a party to celebrate

Give it a try here but you can't beat Jimmy's world when it comes down to globe cuisine. But the service is nice. But it might work around here as they is a couple restaurants with the same layout.

Disappointing buffet with the majority of items stone cold.

Weekday lunch price is £10.99 per person and includes self serve soft drinks, various juices (carton) and a Nescafé machine for hot drinks.

However the lunch time offering is seriously limited and the halal options are very limited. I personally wouldn't go back.

Wow the standard of this place has dropped like crazy! I came here about 2 years ago with a bunch of friends. Although it was waaaay overpriced I sort of enjoyed it. Looked very clean, professional and the food wasn't too bad. So I revisited today with my partner (bare in mind I was raving about how good it was) only to be ashamed of even mentioning it. The food was rubbish to say the least. Hardly any halal options, regretted paying so much money for a lack of choice. After all, it is supposed to be a GLOBAL BUFFET! Everything was finished, nothing was being restocked. Ice cream and dessert section tasted like Icelands shop bought. Cheap and tasteless. Really not worth the money. Most of the food remained on the plate. Will not be visiting here again unless there is some sort of miracle.Yasin Hoque

They (JRC) are bullshit, I just have talking to them they are promotion offer for 2 people, each need to pay £15. But I was looking for 70 people booking they do not have any promotion and discount for 70 people. foul....
I went here for dinner buffet at around 5.30pm. It got crowded very quick. The food was extensive and each item was delicious. It had so much variety it has a map of where the food groups were on the table mat. Starters, Indian, Thai, dim sum, Chinese, Japanese, American, fruits, desert. Most of the food is halal (clearly labelled). If you really wanna eat your moneys worth, come here hungry and determined. I would definitely recommend this place and come here again.

Just had dinner here.. everything was disgusting. They charged 19£ per person, coz its friday night, and not a penny's worth of taste. Take my word, save your money.
They have varied options in all kinds of cuisines. Good for vegetarians as well. A bit difficult to find but definitely worth the trip. Good ambience. A must try.

The Halal selection was absolutely dire the one and only time I went, suffice to say the place is on my blacklist never to go again. I didn't get to eat much because not only was the Halal selection sparse, what was there was no good at all, just stuck to the meat samosas.... after waiting 15 mins each round for them.

Place is nice and the general selection looked good but does not beat Jimmy's!
Vera
I think it's a quite delightful place, bit far from where I live but definitely worth the trip! Food are sufficient and amazing, I especially love DIM SUM, exactly Chinese style, taste like home! It will be better if there is more Vegi~
Kamalesh
We had a friendly lunch there with 8 of our friends.. Even starters fill our bellies... Good food with a nice ambience. Cost for each is £18.5

Would not recommend for vegetarians at all.. Too expensive for the choice and variety of items. The food was cold. The Indian corner was just like made since it was required. 2 stars only for the desserts.

Great food!! Came here twice in the weekday around 6ish... However always busy!!!! £15.99 per head for the buffet which excludes drinks... Desert section and the bbq part is the best! However wish they had more of a variety to choose from.. NOTE ALL FOOD IS HALAL
