Great Devon cream tea, especially the scones. The friendly staff made us feel really welcome, especially with our daughter. Would highly recommend a visit.

Visited in September. Absolutely fab Devon scones. Baked by owner and the best I have tasted. Absolutely lovely couple. Would recommend 100%. Ordered 2 scones each and could just say finish them. Absolutely delicious 😋

Such a lovely little tea room and garden for a traditional cream tea. It was quite busy when we were there, but the service was still very quick. Our westie was given a biscuit, which made him very happy. It was the perfect ending to a lovely long weekend in Ilfracombe.

Great experience. Went in to have brunch whilst waiting for the bus. Quite busy as some people are in queue, and indeed this is one of the best tea rooms in Devon and maybe England. The homemade scones and clotted cream were perfect. Lovely place as you are surrounded lush green vines over your head and colourful flowers on your side. Very instagrammable and would highly recommend.

What an absolute little gem! We sat outside under the grapevine in a very relaxed non-formal atmosphere. Andy was very prompt taking our order and was very friendly. What followed was simply amazing! Without a doubt, the best Cream Tea we have ever had! Delicious, huge homemade scones that were so light and mounds of clotted cream and jam! Not to mention the other fabulous homemade cakes on offer! We visited twice during our break! Quite simply the best!! 5 excellent stars!

2 adults, 2 teenagers and a dog. We were greeted with smiles and options of where to sit. We were informed that the scones had been freshly made this morning. We ordered two cream teas with coffee. We have a coeliac daughter who wanted their gf scones, we were informed that they were not made on site due to contamination. Which made us very happy. Our eldest daughter ordered their freshly made bannoffee pie. Our dog was given a biscuit too. Amazing service, delicious strong coffee and light and fluffy scones. The banknotes pie was absolutely delicious. The gluten free scones tasted really nice, didn't crumble and were a really good size. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Highly recommend stopping by for lunch, cream tea and cakes. The staff are so lovely and welcoming. The beautiful outside seating area is like a secret garden, feels like an escape from the high street. We had the fresh crab salad, crayfish salad, scones, lemon drizzle and cheesecake. All delicious. A tasty, indulgent pitstop on the way home.

Delighted with a lovely cream tea. Excellent value, delicious home made fruit scone. We'll worth a visit. We also saw a spectacular afternoon tea being served. The jacket potatoes looking good too. The staff made us feel welcome and we'll looked after.
