Oh my God. Wow!!! This place literally has the best scones EVER!! They are so soft and moist they are really generous with the clotted cream and jam great value for money. If you ever travel to Ilfracombe then you must visit here. I had mine in a takeaway box and they even provided a knife so I could enjoy them watching the sunset by the pier with the wife. Perfect!!! Thank you Naked Cake

What a lovely traditional tea rooms. And without a doubt the best scones and Eccles cakes we’ve had in a long time. Hope to get back there on our holiday next summer 👍

Had a take out, but looked like a comfortable place to sit. Great coffee and lovely fresh home made cakes. Nice relaxed atmosphere with lovely great windows allowing light to stream in through. Suitable for the family and all other passers by. Free internet. Appeared to be a family business, ticking the right boxes. I wish them every success in their business.

Came on a very busy day in the summer. Coffee, cake, scones, and tea were all made to a really high standard - absolutely beautiful scones. Had a little bit of a wait for the drinks but it was extremely busy, as to be expected. Definitely recommend

The scones here are amazing, as is the clotted cream that accompanies them. The cafe itself is very comfortable. The staff are great too. Nice collection of teapots on show too.

The friendly 'Naked Cake' - Eat-In or Takeaway - is now at Ilfracombe's `The Lantern' complex, 48A High Street, Town Centre, Ilfracombe EX34 9QB. Across from Alan Jackson's Shoe Repairs. We've uploaded a couple of street photos. Nothing is too much trouble for these ladies; it's gorgeous inside with all sorts of lovely cakes and food. You can even sit outside in the courtyard, all properly set up for social distancing. Great service, and you'll get a lovely breakfast for £6.50 with a drink. The Naked Cake's staff are extremely Covid conscious, and they're doing their very best to protect everyone there. They also operate a one-way system for guests. Brilliant.

We popped into The Naked Cake on the last day of our holiday the weather had took a turn and we wanted somewhere to have a cream tea inside. The shop looks very welcoming from the outside and busy which is always a good sign. The inside was very nicely decorated with great furniture and lots of seating. Its was also really clean and tables cleared in super speed when emptied. A choice of hot chocolates on the wall sounded great but we was determined to have our cream tea.We had missed breakfast due to packing the tent so one of our children wanted Scrambled eggs. My wife and i had cream tea with a pot to share two cupcakes for the smallest girls and Scrambled eggs for the elsdest. The scones are huge and fresh and were warm really good. The tea served in proper china and tasted amazing my best cup of tea while in devon. My daughter loved her egg which was a nice sized portion. The cupcakes dissapeared in quick time. The service was amazing considering how busy they were and the lady behind the counter was so nice.It has family feel to the staff i am unsure if thats the case but it felt that way and they were very welcoming.Price was great and really cant fault it in anyway. This was a great treat to the end of our holiday and would visit again in a heartbeat next time visit.

The staff here are really nice and friendly. The food (scones especially!) is delicious and the setup with inside and outside seating is very comfortable and pleasant. I'd highly recommend this cafe!
