The Factory Kitchen - Ilkeston - Photo album

Made two visits to the wonderful Factory Kitchen this week. First for brunch after our wedding at Ilkeston Town Hall. The soughdough welsh rarebit was excellent and the breakfast with home made baked beans perfect. The following evening we visited for some fine dining which was sublime. Lovely owner
Dinner The Factory Kitchen A lovely family run independent restaurant serving great food. By day they offer coffees, cakes, brunch and various snacks. They now do an early evening set menu £25 for 3 courses which is great value. As well as the main menu if you fancy something else. Ans as usual we c
Loved it, loved it, loved it. The clue's in the name for what to expect but I loved the industrial feel of the place - it has substance & a sense of history. As to the food.... we went for breakfast & weren't disappointed. My meal was a full English with home made beans, & my wife had the wild mushr
Update as of 30/06/22 - I've heard the sad news today that this place has unfortunately had to close for good. Such a shame as an amazing restaurant, serving quality food. This is the first time I've been, and it won't be the last! How have I lived in Ilkeston for so long, and never tried this pla
Our most recent visit was for the Spanish evening. It was one of the most delicious experiences I've ever had! Beautifully presented with so many flavours. Every course was exquisite. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. We're so lucky to have this gem of a place so local.
Very nice clean and modern venue. They serve breakfasts and cakes etc in the day. At the weekends in the evening it's fine tapas style dishes. Where their new chef Jacob serves very tasty dishes. One of the best food venues in ILSON.
Lovely atmosphere in this newly refurbished premises and the food is good. Plenty of choice on cooked meals but you can visit just for a coffee and a chat. If you are in a large party it's advisable to book in advance. Only one downside for me was there was too much bread for me in the meals we had.

Delicious and pleasantly surprising flavours, such as the Welsh Rarebit, the toast of which turned out to be lovely kohlrabi! Beetroot salad starter also a success. Charming staff too. The Factory Kitchen - confusingly to vi
Went a few weeks ago for breakfast, dog friendly and served possibly the nicest breakfast I've ever had. I had the spicy sausage naan with a couple or FK hashbrowns. It was fantastic.
Was told about this place by a friend. What a find it was! Pretty hidden away but the food and coffee is amazing. Happy staff what seems like a family business, doing something they love. They deserve to be busy every day and years of success. 👌
