What a great place! The owners are friendly and equally the bar staff are so friendly. This is the ideal place for a great drink and there's a lovely local atmosphere. If you're wanting a traditional pub, with traditional and good beers/ciders/choice of spirits this the place. Visit recommended.

Very lovely pub, with new owners who are doing their best to bring it up to the standard it used to be, so I'm hoping all the locals will give them a chance, and support them the best way ilson people do, by drinking plenty of beer πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸΊπŸΊπŸΊπŸΊπŸΊ

Stopped off with friends to break up a journey - lovely family- friendly pub with a cute cream tea room with real cream teas and little dachshunds, and a straightforward bar with a good choice of ales and cider - nice local feel.

A pub reborn, this place was derilict for a number of years. The present licencee Lisa Chapman, her husband Paul and their young family have taken up the baton and opened a true community pub. They have totally renovated this historic pub. They have live music on Fridays and Mondays a great selection of ales, wines and spirits and are just introducing traditional plowmans lunches and filled rolls at truly reasonable prices. Dog and child friendly well worth a visit if you enjoy a traditional pub visit.

Lovely staff, amazing service. Only thing is at the moment it's only serving cobs instead of a meal, can you get some classic pub food?
