Great little local. Especially love Sunday Club (bingo and sticky 13)!
Nice enough, always get super quick friendly service so 3 stars for that.. I never stay long as sadly no beer garden, and being able to sit outside with beer happens maybe once a week out front (I guess they can't be arsed to set up, which is a shame). I'd give the place 5 out of 5 if it was reliably doing this. But it's hit and miss.
Nice place, quite cosy. Good price alcohol and polite manager aswell as friendly staff, only downfall mens toilet needs a lock. Will return.
I live locally so may be a little biased but the atmosphere in the King's Head is great - friendly, helpful staff offering a great range of beers and spirits provides a warm welcome to all - including pets. With a beer garden and an outdoor seating area on the square side it's a proper, old fashioned local offering all mod cons. Sky & BT sports provide the background for a great visit - day or night (or both!). Regular karaoke and a great disco Saturday nights seal the entertainment package.

Absolutely brilliant pub with one of the best landlady's you are ever likely to find. Great regular entertainment and fantastic friendly atmosphere.

It's a lovely pub and it is very spacious inside and all the staff are very friendly and kind and polite.
Decent priced real ale, but only 2 hand pumps. Clean and tidy with entertainment at the weekend.
