We had our wedding here and it was the absolute best! All the staff were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was so relaxed and happy for us that it made our day even more special. We had 34 people and we all felt so well looked after. The pub has a great atmosphere and I loved how we were able to make the area our own. We reserved all the rooms so that our friends could stay which worked perfectly with a great breakfast included the next morning. Thank you so much to all the wonderful staff and especially Carol who helped us so much with it all! We wish we could do it all over again!!
Great pub. Welcoming staff. Tasty food. Wood Fire pizzas and traditional pub menu. Brilliant atmosphere. Always greeted with a smile. Lovely beer garden in the summer and open fire in the winter. Highly recommend.
Me and my husband went to The Bell on Monday for lunch as a birthday celebration for myself.
The pub itself is beautiful, cosy, inviting and the music goes perfectly with the atmosphere.
We brought our young baby who was settled in nicely to one of their highchairs that actually clips to the table which was much easier.
The staff were absolutely wonderful, so friendly and kind and made a fuss of our baby.
We both ordered a main meal and were so so happy at what we received.
The food was absolutely wonderful, all of it. The gravy I think was actually the best gravy I have ever tasted!
The vegetables were cooked to perfection, everything was.
Now I enjoy cooking myself and I usually find I am disappointed by the food at restaurants/pubs etc but this did not disappoint, I can honestly say it was the best meal I have had out in years if not ever!
Such a wonderful experience and I will definitely be returning and recommending.
We did not stay here, the pub has nice decor and a fairly good atmosphere. we had Dinner in the pub section as we had two well behaved dogs with us. No dogs in the restaurant area. The menu is a little bit limited though, but what we had was very nice and cooked well. The beer was good if I lived in the village it would be my local nice place.
A lovely village pub , friendly welcome , great staff , Dog friendly with a great open fire. They have a Pizza oven and its great to see the pizzas made from scratch ! Large menu to choose from. Locals and staff great fun !!! Great Atmosphere !!!
Taken here for a 2nd time by our good friends who run Frog Street for Sunday lunch, and blown away again! The service is polite and very friendly and the food is top quality, fantastically cooked. Local ingredients cooked well and plenty of it. If you’re passing I’d definitely recommend eating at The Bell 👍🏼
We went for lunch on the way back to Cornwall. The pub was friendly, warm and well decorated and the wine was also really nice. We both had an excellent roast, one of the best we’ve had in ages - I was very impressed with the nut roast.
Unfortunately, I left my scarf behind, I’ve had it for years and Cornwall is miles from the pub. We called and they very kindly (without charge) sent it to me in the post. Absolutely excellent service and completely unexpected. If I could give more stars I would!
Travelled down from Suffolk for work. Staff were friendly and hospitable on arrival. Room was clean, and spacious enough for a couple of days stay over. The rooms are serviced every day by a lovely lady who lives across the road, as well as breakfast in the morning cooked or continental style (your choice). The actual pub it self is warming, fresh look, and inviting. The food was great, and had a nice choice to choose from. I do recommend trying their pizzas as they have a pizza stove on site with a great range of toppings.
Great pub with amazing staff. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome after breaking down locally.
The pub and hotel is beautiful and the rooms were spotlessly clean with lovely comfy beds.
We can’t thank Rob, Carol, Bert and all the lovely staff for being so kind and accommodating to us and our four children. They even offered lifts as taxis were unavailable.
We stayed for two nights on
our way back to Spain. The room was well designed and very comfortable. Food was excellent and staff couldn't have been more helpful. All in all a great stay.
Lovely welcome with our dogs. My sister & I had a delicious lunch, excellent sweet, & returned for tea after walking around this fascinating village .

Called in for lunch and not disappointed with the quality of the food and the bar team we found to be a delightful and welcoming addition all in all a nice pub to try.
We are staying at the hide away lodge a 9 minute drive from this great pub, they had named The Bell at Broadway as a recommendation so we thought we would visit. I can’t give a single fault about this place, the service was amazing, every member of staff was lovely and welcoming and genuinely seemed happy to work there (even on a hot Friday evening) we had pizzas and dough balls and they were so delicious (huge portions). The dough was home made and cooked in a pizza oven. We sat around the side of the pub in the garden area, the whole place had a lovely atmosphere, I can’t recommend coming here enough.
Absolute favourite pub, best in the area. Friendly staff, gorgeous food, with a classy environment and a cosy open fire <3

Food totally amazing, service just perfect, well worth a visit to this quaint pub, you won’t be disappointed.
First visit to Bell. We prebooked table to eat and good job as it was busy! Queue at the bar for drinks but got through them quickly, we decided to order food at same time as drinks just to save a bit of time, again good decision as food arrived after 2mins or so. Food was fantastic and right portion size.
