Review Black Bull Inn - Immingham

What an amazing find! The food was beautiful, I thought I made the best tomato soup in the world, seems not! Lovely warm welcome and fabulous Sunday lunch, best I’ve had in a very long time .

We just had our Easter Sunday Lunch in the restaurant. Our waitress was attentive and greeted us on arriving She told us when she handed us our menus of the couple items that were not available to order. Which is a refreshing change, usually you find when you ask for it. It wasn't rushed and intervals between each course were just right. Food was cooked nicely, not overcooked and plenty of it. Price was reasonable. Menu choice was good. Restaurant is very nicely furnished

We called in on the Black Bull Inn this evening as the hotel we were staying in just up the road had nothing appealing on their menu. We are so glad we found The Black Bull as we will definitely return whenever we are in the area, in fact we will opt to stay in their hotel next time. This pub is exceptional from having a very nice comfortable airy layout but managing a warm friendly atmosphere. The friendly staff are lovely and can't do enough to make you feel special and well looked after. The food is superb and there is plenty on the plate including the side orders which are very generous and the prices are astoundingly low for what you receive! We most definitely recommend a visit here. 😁❤️

Fantastic hosts fay and steven who always make you feel very welcome. Food is always lovely and value for money, sunday lunch is also available. There is a very modern and inviting restaurant available. Great choice of drinks on the bar and if you dont want to drive they offer rooms to stay over. We always like to visit this establishment as often as we can as its a great atmosphere.

A very warm welcome from Steve and staff. Clean, well decorated. Food well-cooked (if veg a tad under-cooked) but fresh, hot and good portions. Good selection of beers and wine. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Very nice country pub, with a great outdoor space. Lovely friendly service.

Food was lovely and great service the mum of the man who owns it was very nice and took the time to come talk to us made us feel really welcome will definitely be back in the future

We visited the Black Bull for the first time for perhaps two years..... and the transformation is amazing. The restaurant area is pleasing on the eye - it has been decorated well and the general ambiance of the eating area is so much better than on our previous visit. Perhaps more importantly the menu choices were good. The food was well presented and flavoursome - it is now like eating at a restaurant rather than eating “pub food”. Will definitely use the restaurant again soon.

Hi came up for a family wedding from Plymouth. We went there for Christmas dinner. The place was warm welcoming lovely and cosy. The food was lovely plenty on the plate. The service from staff was friendly nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou for making us welcome and will be back in the future.

I recently stayed for a week due to business, the accommodation was excellent and staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. I cannot recommend it highly enough. A special mention to Steve and Joanne, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you!

We were here for a christening yesterday. The pub was a great host. The kids loved the park and the computer games. The buffet was excellent and the food kept coming. The beer was very well kept. We stayed over in one of the rooms and the breakfast the following morning was also excellent. The staff and landlord did a great job in making sure everyone had a great time. Well done.

Had a lovely meal today with my family and highly recommend it. There is a welcoming 'family' atmosphere and staff that cannot do enough for you. You will not be disappointed with the fantastic food and company.

Had a family meal here yesterday for my grandads 91st birthday. Lovely food, reasonably priced and great friendly service. We can certainly recommend the lamb and mint pie which is a special at the moment. I also took my 9 month old son and the owner was super providing a hairchair and some water for our food. The restaurant is spacious and has had some refurbishment recently along with the toilets. I'm sure we will return a good local find.

Attended my Aunty's wake here this afternoon, the employees, & manager were lovely, very friendly, and attentive, whom ever did the Buffett did a grand job it was delicious, the venue is so much more welcoming, and clean since the last landlady was there. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to book a room for a function / buffet Thank you all

Lovely evening for our daughters 25th birthday, waitress and oner very friendly, food was 2nd to none, recommend the exotic meat menu. Beautiful, will visit again very soon. Thankyou

Went to the Gin and tapas evening last night, great evening, brilliant value for money, friendly staff. Food was excellent and the gin tasting was fab too!

As we are soon moving to the area it seemed only polite to check out the local Hostelry and my word what a welcome! After only two visits Steve and Fay are like old friends and the whole place has a homely feel with a wonderful play area outside for the kids. Really looking forward to making it our Local. (Great food too).

Food has always been great there but since the new chef has come into the team it's even better, friendly atmosphere, very welcoming kids love the outside play area. The staff have done an excellent job well done guys #supportyourlocal

Christine and Steve did the buffet for our dad's wake yesterday and she did an amazing job. Food was excellent and there was plenty of it. Enabled us to give my dad a great send off. Can't thank them enough.
