Went to dinner here several days ago. Alanya is definitely the best Turkish food in Colchester. Their competitor on the high street might win for flashy looks, however Alanya certainly wins for better taste. The quality was comparable to Turkish restaurants I have been to in Stoke Newington and Harringay. I had the lamb shish and it was incredibly tender and also very tasty. The grilled vegetables on the side were also quite delicious. Last, but not least, the staff was very friendly.
