Lovely place, we stopped for a coffee and sausage rolls. They have som comfortable chairs to stop and drink our purchases. Tried a mango chutney pork pie, nice bit maybe a touch to much mango! The Portuguese tarts weren’t as good as lidl but overall and amazing place. Recommend a detour.

Lovely bakery, lots of variety in breads but the sourdough is the best by far, cakes, sandwiches and pastries, as well as coffee, ice cream and local products. Staff serving always seem friendly. Everything a bit high priced but great quality so not sure it's actually overpriced... The fact it's always busy probably says not.

Absolutely excellent bakery! Fantastic products both savoury and sweet and the very early opening time is incredibly useful if you want to stock up before heading up any of the local hills. Can strongly recommend and will absolutely be calling in again in future.

Decent coffee too. Small car park & some outside seating. (NB: no toilet so have to use nearby community facilities).

Amazing food as alway, you pay for the quality. Chilli sausage roll and black pepper sausage roll, absolutely fantastic!! So meaty and the pastry is beautiful

1st time I've been today, lovely little place and plenty of choices for food, cold & hot drinks, I will be stopping again sometime as there are so many choices I have to try them all (eventually), lovely friendly staff and seats inside & out. 😁👍

Without this bakery I would not be able to function! Of course there are the many varieties of excellent sourdough bread, and I just cannot nominate a favourite, the beetroot is devine and enhances my energetic fell runs and pilates practice, as does the Donker with its slow energy release..then the Dales and multiseed is just as good and tasty with all its seedy goodness and fibre.....and I haven't even addressed the herby/chilli spicier varieties nor the plain old white which trumps the usual white bloomer.. and have I mentioned the cream cakes? Well I don't want tell you how fab they are( with a thick chocolate topping (white chocolate too!!)and more fresh cream than you thought possible in 1 bun????? because they sell out too quick as it is....I don't want
more pinching mine!!!!!! Just visit this place and be totally satisfied by your purchases xxx and the coffee..... xxx
