Adorable ladies, so charming and welcoming.
Food was delicious, fresh and homemade.
We had a toasted sandwich which was served alongside a coleslaw and a salad. Everything was good with a special thumb's up to the coleslaw.

This was one of my favorite dining places while on our travels through Scotland. The food was delicious and the service was amazing! We happen upon it by accident but grateful we did!

We absolutely loved everything about The Cottage Restaurant. After we found it! It’s down a little alley across from the George Hotel. It’s a small and understated family owned gem. We had friendly service and the food was delicious. You have to try the Loch Fyne salmon and everything else is homema
10/10 Execellent customer service for a start. Very friendly and chatty and tended to our every possible need. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and excellent quality. Had some cakes to take away too, that were divine!

We both ordered the salmon sandwich, one with chips, one with soup - absolutely delicious. We enjoyed it so much the we ordered dessert too! My pavlova was so good - the best I’ve had in a very long time.

Really friendly staff and atmosphere; background music was lovely. Staff were really accommodating and made us feel welcome. Food arrived quickly and was fabulous! Prices were very reasonable too. Will definitely visit again if ever I am back in the area.
We just had our best meal so far in Scotland. Literally the perfect dinner and hit the spot. The staff was very welcoming and had a very cozy atmosphere. Happy we got the recommendation and would suggest it for others, especially if you’re looking for a good bite to eat!
