What a great place, it's like Dr Who's tardis. We went in just for a look around, an hour later we left. To say it's a garden centre is an understatement. They sell all sorts, plants, trees, shrubs, bulbs, seeds, food, kids toys, smelly stuff for men and women, garden furniture, jigsaws, books, quality garden tools etc etc. The cafè was excellent, it can seat 300. All the staff we came in contact with were curtious and knowledgeable, not only about the stock but also the local area. There is also a good size carpark, with entrance and toilets wheelchair accessible. Thank you for a great hour.

Superb store with a variety of different everday and decorative items besides the massive collection of plants, flowers and trees. A must visit place for an extraordinary experience. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit!!

Went there specifically for food on a day trip to Lunderston Bay. Steak and sausage pie was magnificent served with roast potatoes and baked beans. We had time to look at all other available dishes displayed in hot trays.Chilli beef looked good,as did everything. This is a beautiful garden centre with excellent food situated right a ross the road from beautiful Lunderston Bay. Thoroughly recommended. 🤗

Great place to visit, I took my Dad to get some plants, Heather and other stuff for a wee spot in his garden. He was like a kid in a sweet shop it's fair to say. He has said on getting the plants put in the ground that one of them wasn't in good condition so that was the only negative of the visit. He is hoping that it comes back to it's best though.

Not a bad place. Had the Full Breakfast but eggs smelt and tasted funny. Very polite lady dealt with the food, got refund as it put me off. First time I've asked for a refund but no problem. They are still getting ready for Christmas but I'm sure it will be good when done.

Loved visiting this garden centre. Has a wide variety of plants. This garden centre is spread over a vast area. Enjoyed in-store shopping as well. The shop has numerous collections of various products and it is divided into different sections. Worth visiting.

Massive garden centre with all sorts of stuff you can buy inside. Loads of different varieties or different things and the cafe is also delightful. Lovely space and delicious little treats. And the pond with the turtles and the birds chirping away. Best garden centre I've been to in a long while. Staff are super friendly as well.

Bigger than expected, good breakfast, very good selection of plants and shrubs, bought some, very pleased. Asked advice from a staff member who was incredibly knowledgeable and took time to explain the query I had, no name tag. I would absolutely recommend this garden centre.

nice garden shop with other shops inside. You been take your dog inside the garden center. The coffee shop is okay. the hot chocolate was not okay, it was not very nice. Across the road from the garden centre is another carpark where you can walk your dog, public toilets and kids play area. there is loads of benches and picnic benches. beware..there's big pot holes at the start of the car park if you decide to park here.

We spent a very enjoyable hour at the centre. Its not the cheapest place in the world but over all the quality is very good. They have an area where they house rescue animals which is excellent. Plant wise I didnt think that there was a huge selection to choose from but then it was late November when we were there and the quality of the plants that were displayed was excellent.

Visiting the area as we are new to the area, found Cardwell Garden centre just before lunch time, so after a look around the amazing entrance area, we stopped for lunch and were not disappointed we all had very nice meals followed by coffee and cakes, no doubt about calling again very soon.

As per usual, the restaurant staff were very helpful, and they carried my tray to where I was going to sit as I have mobility issues and couldn't carry it myself. Meal was delicious.

Great place to meet up with someone coming over on Western Ferries from Dunoon. Nice lunch although at 2pm no baked potatoes or baguettes. Quite expensive compared to my Dobbies, but plants looked very healthy.
