The Rajah Restaurant - Inverness - Photo album

I've been visiting the Rajah since I was a child in the early 90s - A curry was a Sunday night staple for my family during my childhood. We moved to Australia in 2006 and visiting the Rajah is a must every time we return to Inverness. In the ever changing world we live in, it is such a comfort to k
I’ve got nothing bad to say about this restaurant. As someone who enjoys Indian food, this was one of the nicest I’ve had in my lifetime - tasty and freshly cooked. The restaurant itself, despite being in a basement, was well-lit with mirrors and didn’t feel at all claustrophobic - you actually forg
The best Indian in town! We always come to the rajah when we fancy an Indian and it never disappoints, it’s delicious every single time! We love the coconut naan especially. The staff are so polite and friendly with quick service, we are always given a little chocolate and hot wipes before we leave
All of the food was absolutely delicious! We were seated right away and our piping hot curry arrived quickly - perfect comfort food to warm ourselves up after exploring the city.
Exceptional service always- very welcoming after a much delayed train journey- the team happily stayed late and served up their usual fantastic food
My favourite Indian restaurant in Great Britain, bar none! It opened in 1972, the first in the Scottish Highlands. I first ate there in 1987 and have continued to visit whenever I've been in Scotland. I last visited on Tuesday, 18th June whilst holidaying on Skye, and it was well worth the train tri
It was my first time, but it certainly won't be the last. Very tasty food and friendly staff on the phone and face to face too. I'm looking forward to tasting their meal again.
This restaurant is lovely from the decor to the staff to the service to the food and for the price. Pakora to die for honestly not had such a nice pakora in the 5 years we have stayed up here. Garlic chilli veg was awesome as was the chapati, so fresh and tasty. Will definitely be back very soon.
Excellent food, good service, very well presented establishment. Been there several times, never had a bad meal yet.
Excellent food, king Prawn chilli garlic was delicious, my wife also loved her veg mughlai, garlic naan was lovely, all round spot on meal.
The Cobra draught was just what I needed after exploring Inverness. We had plain papadum with the beer and the side sauces were very good. For our main we had the Silsila with lamb and the Tandoori mixed kebabs. Both were great.
