We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast at this restaurant. The food was very tasty, with a great variety of options to choose from. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The location of the restaurant is also very convenient, as it is situated in the heart of the city. There are plenty of attractions nearby, including beautiful river views, which provide a lovely backdrop for a relaxing meal.
We were impressed by the overall quality of the restaurant, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in a convenient and picturesque location. In fact, we liked it so much that we are already planning our next visit. Whether you're a local looking for a new spot to grab a bite, or a tourist exploring the city, this restaurant is definitely worth checking out.

Good breakfast food at reasonable prices. Appears popular and seating can at times be in demand.
Also one of the few cafes to be open early on a Sunday in Inverness and surrounds. We're very busy when we visited but the food was still made quite fast.
We tried the bacon and cheese on sourdough, as well as the salmon and eggs on toast. Both were tasty and the salmon appeared to be very fresh.

Stopped by for breakfast—the vibes and service was wonderfu. I think they are the first plqce I visited that offerend to but ice in my water! I had the Iced coconut Carmel latte l. I was afraid it'd be too sweet, but it wasn't. I also had the smoked Scottish salmon with scrambled eggs on sourdough—and it was awesome. I was also really happy to see that they used seasoning, unlike a lot of breakfast places I've seen in the UK. I also tried their dulche de leche croissant, which was awesome! XOKO is apparently entered in a compilation for best croissant in the UK—so I wish the success!

If you enjoy a spot of breakfast/ brunch or even just a tasty pastry and a decent cup of coffee - you cannot miss XOKO if you're in Inverness! Everything was absolutely incredible (including the very different breakfast daal!) and the staff were so friendly too!
Topping it off was a great music selection too for a real blissful experience.

We had breakfast here early in the morning before our train. This is one of the very few places open before 9 in Inverness and they serve a few delicious breakfast options.
We had a grilled croissant with bacon and cheese 🧀 🥓 🥐 and a sourdough toast with avocado and tomatoes 🍅 🥑 🍞. Both were excellent! I then also tried the almond and tonca cream croissant - also delicious! The entire menu here is quite interesting with slightly unusual flavors and combinations, a pleasant surprise! They have an open kitchen where you can observe the food preparation and baking process.
The coffee was okay, could do with higher fat content milk for the latte as it felt watery and a little burnt.
Overall however it was an excellent breakfast! The staff were also nice, everything is clean and the decor is pleasant and stylish. Great spot! ☕️

Fantastic baked goods and very friendly and smiling staff!
Recommended:
smoked salmon and eggs bread, which I ordered with extra avocado.
To try:
Almond and tonka beans croissant as well as pain au chocolat.
Oat milk cappuccino with cinnamon.
I had the smoked salmon and eggs on bread and added extra avocado.
It was truly exceptional. The bread slices were baked with aromatic butter, eggs were cooked perfect- not too little and not too much, the salmon was also very tasty, and the avocado was fresh and thinly sliced.
The oat milk cappuccino with cinnamon was really good.
We also tried the almond tonka croissant and the pain au chocolat which were very nice and crispy.
Staff was very nice and friendly which made our breakfast very pleasant.

Recommended by my friend to come here. This cafe is the next level! I had this strawberry choco (sorry for not being able to recall a name) and match latte. It was amazing and I would love to come here again!

On our first ever visit to Inverness we were struggling to find anywhere to go for lunch. We stumbled across XOKO, and we were not disappointed.
Fresh sour dough bread being baked in the kitchen, great coffees being served and a really nicely done out restaurant area.
The kids had the cheese toasties and we had the "Mexican Stew" and "Vietnamese Pork Rice Bowl". Absolutely fantastic food. Very unexpected and great value for money.
Wallpaper in the toilets was very cool too.
Would 100% recommend!

Excellent breakfast, I had the sourdough toast with scrambled eggs and chorizo. Very filling and delicious. Their pastry selection is unique, especially enjoyed the cheesecake croissant. Staff friendly and quick.

The food is always delicious here (especially the Churros) but the service is incredibly slow and we've been in at least a dozen times and it's always been slow. You are served your cup of tea and it's usually luke warm by the time your hot food arrives (and I have asked for my tea to not be brought to the table till the food arrives but it always arrives well before). If it wasn't for the fact the food is really lovely I certainly wouldn't come back. My advice is to allow loads of time - its not a place to dine if you are in a hurry. Oh and it's not always really busy when service is slow so this can't be used as an excuse.

Great little coffee shop, decent prices, and good atmosphere. Wifi didn't work though only downfall. The snacks they have there tasted amazing!

I'm pretty regular in sococo. I've tried most of the menu, food, hot drinks, cold drinks, desserts. And it is my favourite place to eat in Inverness. Always get good friendly service, the staff are great and the macaroons (salted caramel) are the best

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here, a busy place but the staff kept everything moving well. Bit of a wait for the food to arrive and it would have made more sense to serve the drinks straight away. Good quality and quantity. I would definitely go back again.

Visited in passing for a quick take-away coffee, but was drawn back for lunch too. Great, friendly staff, fantastic selection of drinks, cakes and chocolates. Well worth a visit.

Food and drinks on offer were delish
Very busy because of this however staff were great and our ciabattas, nachos, hot chocs and coffees were brought to our table hot, fresh and loaded.
Highly recommend ANYTHING chocolatey here.

Step daughters guided us into this heaven for chocolate lovers. 12 Churro's with 3 pots of melted milk chocolate & their banoffee tart . Gorgeous & wickedly indulgent for a Sunday lunchtime. Lovely place to sit ( if u can get a seat ) and people watch. Could do with having 2 tills open before the queue is out the door. Would definitely go back next time visiting Inverness

Lovely place and hot chocolate was delicious but £2.95 for a biscuit with raspberries and white chocolate on top.... bit overpriced.

My favourite coffee shop in inverness. The hot chocolate is delicious and the churro to die for xxxx

We went for a late lunch on a Tuesday so it wasn't overly busy. Service was good and the food was delicious. I had the Brie and cranberry ciabatta with no bacon. It was absolutely yummy. My daughters had crepes and a toastie and both were very happy with their food.

So so! Took ages and was uninspiring. Had full English breakfast on a funny plate! What's with the plates? One of the worst breakfasts I've had and we eat out every Friday morning. Sorry, won't be back. Claims to be the best coffee in Inverness!? Neither of us finished ours so that says enough
Colin Russell
This is my favourite coffee shop in planet earth! Love it!

I love coming here I try to come as much as I can! The Hot chocolate is amazing yes can be a bit busy but it's worth the wait! The churros are exceptional too and I've never had a problem in here customer service wise!

My friend and I decided to visit So Coco on Sunday. There was a small queue, so we were served quickly. I ordered a hot white chocolate and my friend ordered a hot milk chocolate and a chocolate brownie.
We received our number then I paid and we sat down. It seemed that people who came in after us were receiving their orders before us, so I checked the time on my receipt and it said 15.03, it was now after 3.25! Nearly half an hour for 2 hot chocolates and a ready made cake, which isn't an acceptable time to wait. I'm not sure how much longer we may have waited if my friend hadn't approached the counter and asked the server if we had been forgotten about.
This is very poor service and quite disappointing. The hot chocolates were lovely, but I would make sure if you are planning visiting leave plenty of time as the service is as slow as a sleeping sloth.

Nice but for the second time now service was dreadful. Waited almost 25 minutes for a hot chocolate and a chocolate milkshake. Time before almost 50 minutes for 1 portion of wedges. I asked 3 times and was told "we're busy" I understand that but when tables are coming in after and finished and left when you're still waiting it's not ideal.
