Proper old school workers style cafe that appeals to all sorts of people. A cracking feast of food cooked fresh and great value, I've only ever had the breakfast but the daily lunches on the board are very tempting.

What a lovely cafe.
We were temperature tested and given hand sanitizer on arrival.
The full English breakfast was nothing less than perfection in a plate.
The view from outside looking over the lake was tranquility itself.
Great prices and food. Staff were great and service is prompt. Never mind the queue to enter & order, it’s quicker than it looks and enjoy the view of the lake. Has a genuine American diner feel to it.
Though the food and service were both good, I’d say it’s more about the location, on a summers day you can enjoy food and beverages while overlooking the lake.
Great value breakfast
Lovely food, well portioned and very friendly staff, highly recommend, has a great view of the lake and is a great fishing spot, sometimes it gets really busy even the winter when they open first thing even on a Sunday we're queuing upwards of 20+ mins for a table!
Quite handy for the A14. We had lunch here and it was decent quality café food. Good value for money, staff were friendly, fast service and a pleasant place in general. There was also a lake to look at which was an added bonus. Felt like I was at the seaside.

Great price, good food, and a very tasty coffee! Pretty busy so a long wait to be served, queued out the door and in the rain, but didn't take too long for food to arrive once order was placed.
