Though the food and service were both good, I’d say it’s more about the location, on a summers day you can enjoy food and beverages while overlooking the lake.

Great prices and food. Staff were great and service is prompt. Never mind the queue to enter & order, it’s quicker than it looks and enjoy the view of the lake. Has a genuine American diner feel to it.
Nice place to relax and look out over the lake and wildlife. Reasonably priced food, with indoor amd outdoor seating.
Fantastic choice for breakfast we had the small it was delicious and we felt suitably satisfied. A must if your in the area. Good value for money 10* for sure.
Lovely place beautiful views of the lakes. Food is excellent and good quality. Sausages to die for get orange juice with it as well. Service good and quick. Recommend to everyone. Does get very busy in the mornings popular with workmen. Definitely worth a visit.

This cafe is extremely busy, as long as you don't mind waiting in a queue for a table then I would definitely recommend here. We both had a fry up which was delicious.
Great price, good food, and a very tasty coffee! Pretty busy so a long wait to be served, queued out the door and in the rain, but didn't take too long for food to arrive once order was placed.
From up north visiting family so thought I would try a Suffolk breakfast 🥣. Did not disapoint Plenty of it as it was the big one. Nicely cooked and hot .Well done.
Good food reasonable portion size too. Shame lots of rubbish under outside picnic tables but inside was spotless. No table menu found so as I find it bit difficult to walk stand, couldn't see all menu options.
Quite handy for the A14. We had lunch here and it was decent quality café food. Good value for money, staff were friendly, fast service and a pleasant place in general. There was also a lake to look at which was an added bonus. Felt like I was at the seaside.
This is, by far, the best breakfast in Suffolk.
