We always visit here when In Town and always enjoy a few drinks. It's always a pleasant atmosphere, quick, friendly service no matter how rammed it might be. Drinks are reasonably priced, and they have a good choice of Beers on Tap. They have plenty of sport on the various screens as well.
We came as 9 away fans from Huddersfield to help celebrate your promotion to the Premier League and, of course, support our beloved TERRIER'S. Brilliant atmosphere and made totally welcome.
Lovely pub grub. And very well priced. Andrea was a top member of staff and was very polite and courteous in her duties. Been back again today the 23/02/23 and it's STILL a fine place to spend of an evening.
I took my mother here last Sunday for mother's day. She loved it! Great atmosphere, the food was delicious, great prices aswell. The staff were very kind and helpful Couldn't ask for a better night
We have been coming in here for over 20 years. Today (Christmas Eve) was one of those rare occasions that we stopped to eat. The service was super quick and the food was really delicious. My husband and I both had the bacon cheese burger. It was so juicy and the bacon just the right amount of crispi
Went on a Tuesday afternoon with a friend. Had 7 pound meals for January which was excellent value for money. I had lasagne and my friend beef burger and was evidently home cooked and delicious. Would definitely recommend for locals or visitors.
We stopped for the Ipswich game last Tuesday and wow what an atmosphere, brilliant service, great beer super food and a star of a landlord Paul. Recommended a visit
A lovely pub on the corner a short walk from buttermarket shopping center/car park. Walk in and seat yourself. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel very relaxed and at eased. Had a chat with us while we waited for our drinks. But didn't constantly come over to ask how things were (which we
A buzzing, busy city-centre boozer vibe for my Saturday evening drop-in beer-only visit.. Friendly, abundant staff kept the bar ticking over and wait times were way better than expected on a matchday. Bouncers point towards potential for a fracas as time wears on.
We went to The Plough for our Xmas day lunch. It was our first visit but the reviews had looked good. We honestly couldn't fault it in any way at all. The food was great both in quantity and quality. The staff could not be more friendly. We will definitely return.
Really enjoyed the mixed grill today .. Best one I had in there ..cooked perfect no waste all top quality .
I recently visited this pub and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff, especially Mel and Michelle, were outstanding. Their exceptional service and friendly demeanor added to the overall enjoyment of the evening.
Went as part of the Lidl's Christmas work meal last night.. Food was dished up to us in perfect condition ...and in between courses,..the perfect timing between each.. The whole team,I can say had fun,..and we wanted to thank you for hosting us.. Would highly recommend
Excellent afternoon at The Plough yesterday afternoon watching the Horse Racing. The food was fantastic, well prepared and delicious and the service was second to none. Thank you for a very enjoyable afternoon.
A great and lovely pub, food are cheap and of great quality, staff are amazing. I'll definitely be coming back.
Myself and a friend had a burger and dessert each. The burger was nicely cooked and tasted nice. I had sticky toffe pudding which was a bit dry and had no toffe sauce on it, but it was only £3.49. The server we had was poilte and made us feel welcome.
