Hosts are super friendly, always willing to help with any query. It’s very conveniently next to the train station which is great as you don’t have far to go with all your luggage if travelling by train. Room was comfortable and even had a kettle which was nice as I could make a brew!
Right next to the train station, some very attentive staff food is absolutely amazing, some great quick meals while waiting for train, few IPAs & real ales among the lagers.
Popped in for an early dinner and had bangers & mash. It was nicely presented and I didn’t have to wait long for it either. Top marks and I’ll certainly pop in again.

Came here for lunch with my Gran and Aunt. Conveniently located next to the railway station. We had a lovely meal, the bar staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you!

Had dinner and drinks before catching our train home. Best cheeseburger I've had in a long while but not expensive. The lady serving us at the bar was very charming and made us feel very welcome. We will call again.

Waiting for my train to London for Madonna concert had no change for juke box was offered a pound from a customer and lovely lady behind bar gave me a pound. Xxxx

Beautiful homely pub, good for sports, tasty food that arrived swiftly and fabulous service. Charlie did the place absolute justice. I will be coming back!!!
Obviously great location for railway good selection drinks look out for meal deals. Recommended for drinks peeples
