We just wanted to say a very big thank to you and your staff for making our wedding meal really special. The tables looked amazing and we managed to fit all 21 of us in your private dining area - with a little bit of reshuffling! The food was delicious and everyone commented how beautifully it was
Attended a networkingvevent that was serviced excellently - staff and food - a great venue and space, historically interesting, beautiful staircase and wooden floors, upper room is splendid with a high gallery for additional seating. Fully recommend.
Nice and cosy place to eat and drink, I would definitely recommend.
Worth noting that only the downstairs room is open at lunchtime. Very pleasant few hours spent. Friendly staff. Not great Vegetarian selection for me, had a very crispy jacket potato. Portions not big either. Might be worth a return in the evening.
The only criticism was that it was very snug on the tables. you were practically sitting on top of each other, which made it very awkward and uncomfortable to eat.
