Plesently surprised. On previous visit some years ago the tables and menus were sticky. Overall looked tired. But now has had a refresh. Food is hot and plentiful, it's never going to be 5 Star but good value for a good time with family

This is our second time visiting the thrasher in Ipswich and it did not disappoint. We choose the Sunday deal that was £12.99 for two mix ups (there was other options but I love a mix up) and two for £4 Non alcoholic ciders (huge amount of drink in comparison to a £2.90 coke). Service was really good, everything ordered and paid for through the Greene King app - really recommend easy to use and pay electronically. This way you can leave when you want without hanging around for the bill and feeing you have to tip. I would have tipped our server she was great, sorry I don’t know the name. Plenty of parking. Plenty of choice. We was disappointed that there was no Sunday roast available. Toilet facilitates were clean and well looked after. Lovely pub we will continue to visit for a nice reasonably priced mea out. Thank you to all the staff working Sunday evening on 5th March 2023.

Good choice of food, portions are large if our party of sevens was anything to go by, even the children's choice. Food was hot and came quite quickly after ordering. Value for money and even better if you get the discounts.

We had the 8oz rump and it was cooked to perfection. Very tender. Good size portions. The restaurant was very busy but this didn't have an impact on the service. All staff were friendly. Thank you

Disabled parking, access and toilets. Good family pub with sports area/bar where you can watch footy or other sports that are on. Outdoor play area seating to eat and or drink. Good variety of food and drinks, good prices, and an discounted offer on every day. Had the chicken wings which were nice just a shame sauce was just tipped on and not pre marinated and cooked in. Alsi had the new Korean BBQ chicken burger which was nice. Lost a star as it could do with a refurb. Indoor seating with lots of masking tape. Defo worth a visit

I had the 15oz gammon . Lovely as always...good value for money. My wife had chicken skewers , along with the side salad and fries , which she really enjoyed. Went on a tuesday afternoon , so was quiet.
