First time here for Sunday lunch as we were in the area for some sales shopping at Whitehouse retail park. Portions were very generous for the price. Roast dinners came with lovely roast potatoes, carrots and parsnips plus a bit of stuffing which I always love. Dad had Lasagne which he enjoyed a lot. Then two of us had pear crumble with custard, again generous and delicious. We will return!

The beer was well kept, food prepared while you wait and excellent. The portions were a decent size and the quality was excellent. The staff were friendly as were the customers.

Had a lovely meal with the family. The service was very good and food delicious. The portion sizes were very generous too.They really couldn't do enough for us. Great play area for the children. Will definitely be going back again!

Amazing service and food... The staff are so welcoming and willing to make sure you feel at home.. We are here for my daughters 17th birthday and she is enjoying every part of it... Will definitely come back again and will definitely recommend to others

It was a surprise birthday meal for me with 13 of us there.The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was freshly cooked and absolutely first class. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Lovely place, we were a party of 25+, all food came out hot and they served all the children first, which I thought was good 👍 delicious meal, traditional home cooked grub, lovely outside space and play area. Thank you to all the staff 😊 steak and ale pie was amazing 👏

Popped into the pub last night for a meal with friends, after showing them where we would be moving to. Everyone very friendly and welcoming. The 2 veggies in tow were more than happy with the options available. Lovely piping hot food mostly home cooked with fresh locally sourced seasonal veg. Excellent value for money. Looking forward to a Sunday lunch bash in the near future.
