The Indian Zayka is easily the best Indian restaurant in Ipswich. My wife and I enjoyed eating here very much. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Punjabi Curry, both of which were fantastic. My only complaint would be that the Punjabi Curry was a little too sweet, and neither curries were very spicy, though I'm sure if we had asked they could have made them spicier. The Nan was large, so we only had to order one, and the serving size was very impressive.

Best Indian in Ipswich! Restaurant decor is nice, great customer service... The owner is a lovely lady, really made us feel like we were eating at home. I ordered butter chicken and it was awesome, creamy and rich with just the right amount of spice, garlic cheese naan was nice and cheesy. Will be my regular go to Indian from now on. Highly recommend eating at this place, you don't know what you are missing out on, get in and give your taste buds a tasty time!

My favourite is the vindaloo, a curry that in some restaurants is served as nothing more than meat in spicy gravy, here is richly aromatic and flavoursome with all sorts of underlying flavours (of course it's spicy too), the meat is always tender and portions are good value. My wife tries different dishes and always enjoys them. The first time I came here was with my wife and young son, it was not very busy and when the young woman who served us saw we were struggling she held the baby while we ate in peace, a wonderful gesture of kind customer service. Between service and quality of food I rate this as the best Indian in town. Easy parking behind the lot or near the old blockbuster, and it's never really been that busy.

My family and I enjoyed a very tasty, well priced meal at Haweli last night, but were disappointed with the standard of the service. For almost all of our meal there were no staff manning the front counter, making it difficult to attract anyone's attention when we needed it, including when it came time to pay our bill. Little things also contributed to a lack of atmosphere, including our waitress leaving our menus with us after we ordered, and not having any background music playing until we had been seated for half an hour. As I said, our meals were very tasty, but we did feel neglected as customers and noticed other patrons around us having similar experiences.

* Recommended. I was a little disappointed as $15 for the large meal (Butter chicken) was a very small serving and lacked meat, not really value for money, the next option was $20 for the extra large, It will be just the standard large container as we all know. However, It did taste very nice and I was given with a container of FREE rice which other indian restaurants fail to do. I will order again in the future and hope they will consider using larger containers and more meat for the $15 meals.

Most of the Indian hotels in Ipswich don't have good staff but Haweli of India in Booval is a combination of good food and hospitality of consumer services. The beautiful tall girl in reception always seen with smiling face and awesome looks. Loved to talk her. I never experienced such delicious food from anywhere. good luck guys.
