Called in after visiting nearby Acton Court. Very nice food & enjoyable few hours inside & in the garden. Friendly staff & locals, would recommend!
Celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary at the Lamb Inn yesterday was an amazing experience. From previous visits we already knew that the food was consistently excellent and last night didn’t disappoint! Everyone in our party enjoyed their choice of food, the presentation was beautiful, and every dish was cooked to perfection! The warm and friendly atmosphere and the excellent service with a smile was just lovely, nothing was too much and we were very happy indeed!
Thank you for making us so very welcome and for taking such great care with the beautiful decorations on and around our table. If there were more stars to be awarded, I would not hesitate to do so ... thank you for helping to create wonderful memories of our special day!!
A really homely friendly pub,made to feel very welcome. Meals very large but was able to have a starter with sides as the main meal. Prices reasonable with some items available as buy one get one free,time and day restrictions.
An excellent experience. From the friendly phonecall to book, through the cheerful welcome, the polite service, the perfectly cooked food with the BEST chips I’ve had anywhere in a VERY long time, the attentive but not intrusive waitress we had a thoroughly lovely time. The lunchtime BOGOF menu portion sizes were spot on. We all had empty plates without wanting more. I will definitely come again.

The 2 for 1 meals are a steal. We chose from the specials list and the belly pork with dauphinois potatoes was excellent.

A quaint old-fashioned English pub. Friendly staff who were pleased to serve. Good range of beers. It has a reputation for good food, through on this visit we only had a couple beers.

Good food (tried vegan Sunday roast) , good service and affordable. Lovely garden to enjoy sun. Excellent location. Will pop by again if cycling through the village.

Such a nice little pub! Friendly and attentive service, top quality food and decent prices too! And its an independent! That should be enough on its own for you to give them your custom!
And they were really dog friendly, Ezra had as good a time as us.. Would recommend.
Always a lovely place to stop mid way through a walk, big harden as well, and the food is always good, especially the Sunday roast.
Great pub, buy 2 get the cheapest meal free good selection of food and good selection of drinks.
