The Wineport has a plenty of gluten free options. The staff are very clued up and even discussed the oil the chips were fried in.Its hard to find somewhere that understands the importance of a gluten free diet.Food was excellent.will be back

Fantastic bar in fantastic surroundings, with friendly fantastic staff, who took great care of my watch I had lost on the mountain. Just what is required after a stiff climb up & down Goatfell

The staff are very friendly and allowed my dogs in out of the rain. The food is delicious. When I'm on Arran I visit The Wineport nearly every day. Cappuccino and a blazing fire....fabulous.

Thanks so much to all the staff, had the pleasure of meeting Gina who made my mum's special birthday a lovely relaxed atmosphere with fabulous service and food. We were made to feel so welcome and not rushed. The food was just lovely, we couldn't fault a thing. Xx

I took my kids yesterday on the recommendation of a friend and returned with my mum and kids today for another terrific lunch. I had the Pork & Chorizo Burger, which was terrific, followed by a warm Chocolate Brownie with Salted Caramel Ice-Cream. The brownie was perfectly squidgy and the ice-cream silky. The food here is excellent (best on the island out and about from our hotel) but what they're doing best is service: the staff are friendly, helpful and attentive; a credit to the owner, who is most welcoming and efficient. The new owners of this place are doing lots of things right and it's a great spot to enjoy food outside if it's sunny. I hope their business does well and I look forward to returning when I next visit Arran.

First thing you notice is how friendly the staff are they even lent us suncream as the weather was exceptional. Lovely beer garden and the bottom of entrance to Go Fell We has had the Caesar salad and salmon, absolutely beautifully presented and tasted delicious.

We climbed goat fell today in memory of our brother Gary. Mum isn’t fit so had to wait at the bottom. The lady who worked in the restaurant/pub was absolutely incredible - the kindness and compassion she showed our mum was above and beyond. I’m sorry, I don’t remember your name but it was a J or G. I can’t thank you enough for caring the way you did. Xx

Stopped in after a day of walking for some good and a drink. The service was great, food was tasty, and beers were cold. Even got to meet the resident dog Holly the Hoover. Would highly recommend the cullen skink soup. Overall great place to stop in for food and drinks after an afternoon of exploring Brodick castle (make sure you get in before 4pm as food service stops then)

A firm and steadfast family favourite. The location is perfect, the outdoor space with tables is ideal if you have a dog with you- dogs also welcome inside! The food is always very tasty, great value for money and beautifully presented. Gina and her staff are very welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. There is little wonder as to why they have won several awards over the past few years. As a family of 6, the wineport continues to offer the best of Arran when it comes to food and service.
