Martyr's Bay Restaurant - Isle of Iona - Photo album

Cute little place to grab a bit to eat while on tour. Sausage roll was fantastic. Girls seemed a bit flustered with the large influx of tourists all at once but seemed to get through, so well done. Nice range of food for a snack or full lunch. Very tidy and clean in side and outside.
A typical Scottish cafeteria. Lots of tables to help feed all the people coming off the ferry or the boats touring Staffa. Good selection of food for a small place. I was very happy to get a Greek salad as well as a Cornish pastie filled with great beef. The chips were ok; I've had better. But the h
people were friendly ...food was expensive ...need a makeover
Food and service were excellent. It offered a selection to suit all tastes. I've eaten there on a previous visit a few years ago and the restaurant has certainly 'upped' its game. However, the sausage sandwiched are still lovely.
Great spot with nice views, perhaps the only location where you can enjoy a refreshing pint following a hike around the island. The person behind the bar was exceptionally friendly and even allowed us to stay a little longer after closing time
Quick trip over from Bunessan to drop off some post cards in order to raise money for SCAA and we popped in there for a coffee and scone. Absolutely delicious...and stunning views as well. What more do you want.
Vegan options!! Soup (both soups vegan the day we were here), pastry, and vegan burger were all very tasty! They even offered to get us a side of sunflower vegan butter spread! So pleasantly surprised!
Great place, quirky, like a large log cabin! Food excellent, and very good value. Staff friendly and welcoming.
Enjoyed a large portion of tender mussles. They broth could have been more flavorful.
A lovely cafeteria style venue with great food and friendly service. Prices were good value.
We had a quick lunch here while waiting for our tour to Staffa. We sat on the patio - which is worth it just for the view! We had scones and coffee - they were average, but the rest and the spot itself made up for it!
We popped in here for lunch after a boat trip to Staffa. Lovely friendly staff. We had a mackerel salad and a prawn salad, tea and cake. All very nice, with a view!
I had dinner here several times and liked it. I also had lunch a few times and liked it. Lunch is priced very reasonable and dinner is a little more, but I didn't think it was outrageous for a place on an island. The people are very nice.
Super place to have a drink or plate of food. Please try the mussels. Delicious.
While the food and drinks were good, the real star of the show here is the service. On June 18th, my friends and I visited Iona on a boat/ferry tour of Mull, Staffa, and Iona. Our trip to Staffa was cut short by extremely rough waters (it was unsafe to land the boat on the island), so we came to Ion
Had very tasty fish and chips here, thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful views from the comfortable dining area. Staff were friendly and helpful, service was prompt.
The staff are super friendly, there is a really homely atmosphere, and great views. My wife loved the Mull mussels. We went a service at the Abbey after and that was really atmospheric and made our day! The moon was out on our walk back, perfect!
