A fascinating site - the stones are accessible with a short walk from the car park and even though we visited in mild drizzle the site was peaceful and you can only begin to imagine how different the world was when these stones were hauled up the hill and set in place.

Always a high point of the Isle of Lewis calendar. Very tranquil and views over stones and Loch Road, truly stunning. Cafe team always pull out the stops for a strupag and scones for the travellers, great team great service.
Stones are beautiful, just awestruck of the how much of history they've seen. Really is so impressive. If you catch them when the sun's going down it's one of the most beautiful places on earth.
Cafe in the visitor centre is awesome, the vegan+gf chocolate cake was delicious!

Really beautiful standing stones in stunning landscape surrounding in the shape of a Celtic cross. Well worth the walk up to see them. Really nice coffee shop and gift shop too. Very helpful friendly staff who greeted us off the coach and came out to say goodbye too, so lovely.
Well worth a visit, ample parking at the visitor's centre for cars, coaches and motor homes. The cafe has a good selection of beverages and treats, served by efficient and friendly staff. A short walk takes you to the standing stones and a fantastic glimpse into our distant past, the meaning of whi
