The Old Post Office & Lochbuie Larder - Isle of Mull - Photo album

Food consisted of a decent selection of home cooked dishes. What we had was tasty. The coffee they use is a local roaster which I'm sure is decent. Nice benches to sit outside, and an amazing view whilst eating your lunch. The guy who took our order and served us was very friendly and did well manag
Lovely building and cafe in one of the more remote areas of mull. Food and coffee was excellent. The road is a little windy but with plenty of passing points. Worth the trip out there for refreshments and taking in the wild coast. You can also take a short walk to the castle just along the coast.
We visited this charming cafe yesterday, whilst driving round the island. Well worth the visit across here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, even though we arrived and the cafe was packed full. They quickly got us some seating, and got our food and drinks to us quickly. The sausage rolls
This is a fantastic wee cafe, I totally recomend. Strangely seems longer to get to it from the main road than it does getting back, so keep carrying on, it is worth it. I had the nicoise salad with smoked salmon, while my wife had, extremely large, langoustine. The coffee is also extremely good, esp
Where can you get a cup of coffee one minute before closing time? Staff were friendly and let me leave the mug outside so I could drink in peace. one point lost as the cappuccino was too caramelly for my taste. But itโ€™s a beautiful spot to sit at the picnic tables and absorb the atmosphere.
The Old Post Office is no more, its been replaced with a new building, staff, cafe & shop. Tap, nice clean toilet ( be sure to pull the handle up when locking the door) or it won't lock!!. Friendly staff. Overnight parking for camper vans is a suggested ยฃ5. Enjoyed our 1 night there!
Our second visit, coffee and cake last week, langoustines today, fresh and great value. A visit to Mull is not complete without visiting this brilliant outpost and enjoying their culinary delights, yum!!
We wild camped here which was incredible. Such lovely women in the cafe too - we didnโ€™t hang around for lunch (it gets very busy and they are small, so recommend turning up just before 12) but we had a great coffee and scone when they opened at 10.
A drive along a narrow road brings you to the old Post Office, freshly caught langoustines, Yorkshire tea, fresh coffee and delicious cakes and scones. And a super view. Some seats outside too. Nick took the time to give us tips on how to peel the prawns even though the place was so busy. Excellent
Lovely little cafe! The sausage roll was amazing and so big, I couldn't manage it all.
I ate at the Old Post Office twice this week. It was a friendly and fun experience. Food was Plentiful and delicious. We all had freshly made local food and yummy home made cakes.
Amazing cafe and hub on the shore of Lochbuie, a fantastic menu, great view and awesome staff. Highly recommend ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘Œ
We stopped in here on our way back to the ferry. The setting is lovely, and the views are great! The food was absolutely amazing, so fresh and tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful, would absolutely recommend!
Lovely cafe, I had tea and salted caramel brownie, delicious! The view is beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Home made cake so good we stayed another night at the camp site to have more! Coffee made expertly with passion and honestly friendly conversation to make one feel welcome and comfy. Come for the scenery stay for yummy food ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ™‹โค๏ธ
Well worth the the drive! Fresh scones, still warm from the oven. Delicious cakes and great coffee. Friendy and helpful staff. Spectacular views, too!
Went here on a rainy day, they had a great selection of small lunches, we had the lobster mac & cheese which was fantastic to warm us up, they also did a great cup of coffee and a tasty selection of cakes! We spent the rest of the day on a lovely walk nearby. Can't recommend this place enough.
If you're in the area it's a must stop place for lunch. The homemade soup and cheese scones are amazing, also the fantastic sausage rolls and cakes.
