Tomita Japanese Restaurant

Wandered in here by happenstance after we’d rocked into town after 2pm only to find that most places were closed for lunch. Happily we asked the staff here and they were open, so we settled in for some Asian food. Kids loved the ramen and fried rice, and my husband was happy with his vegan friendly rice and spicy veg. Overall service was great, the lady was super kind to our kids, and the food arrived piping hot which was what we needed after a morning hiking in windy conditions. Just a star deducted for value for money - this place was pricier than the usual fare, and I’m not sure that’s warranted. But all the same, this hit the spot for us and we enjoyed it.

Cozy and lovely atmosphere. The waitress was very attentive. Was very honest and helpful, especially because my sister has a lot of allergies. Food was amazing. The ramen might have not been the best, but the Chicken teriyaki und fried beef udon were amazing. If your thinking about taking the spicy Tonkatsu, it is very spicy, dont underrestimate it. But I would recommend the Chicken Teriyaki anyway. Unfortunately I forgot to take a brother of it. The starters were also very tasty. So even though the Pork Tonkatsu wasn't that good, I still give it 5 stars, because the other food were really nice. You will probably pay around 20-25 pounds per person if ya dont take starters. Btw they only accept cash, but it may change in the future

Friends who like handcrafts must come here. The layout of the store is very special, the service is very good, and the food is served quickly. We drove for 8 hours and were very tired. Seafood restaurants need reservations. When we turned around and saw this place, we had a group of 8 Everyone is very satisfied👍, I recommend tempura prawn spicy noodle soup
