I have long been a fan of Hetties coffee and am so pleased that there are lots of others who love this friendly little place. We have just sampled the new breakfast menu and can highly recommend that too! The staff are without exception efficient, calm under pressure and always positive - come and support your local small businesses and help Ivybridge thrive again!

Even if you are not planning to pass through or stop in Ivybridge, find a day when you can go and sample their food and hot drinks! So delicious! Can't wait to go back! Yum!
Ivybridge needed a place like this. The coffee is fabulous, the food is excellent and the service is second to none.
You can be sure of a warm welcome at Hetties: a delightful place to relax and enjoy a hot chocolate and delicious selection of cake. Looking forward to my next visit. Just what Ivybridge needed.
We came here for lunch and coffee and was not disappointed. The bread was sourdough and delicious. We tried the mango mint lime smoothie and it was also very delicious!
Limited choice for a decent cup of coffee in Ivybridge, but Hetties is by far the best. Can get busy.

Just had the best Brie, Bacon and Cranberry Toastie here, it was listed as a panini but I asked if I could swap out for the brown sourdough bread, they were more than happy to do so. It was so good i'm writing this review just after finishing it. Very lovely service. :-)
Lovely quiet cafe on the main road. Good coffee, freshly prepared food and friendly service. Recommend.

February 2020:Is still the best place to go grab coffee no doubt about it. It's a nice chilled atmosphere and all the staff are nice,chilled and good at time management. Food came quick and was really nice. Still the best coffee place in my opinion.
Great little coffee shop! Accommodating for dogs of all sizes and clearly a popular destination for locals! Ethically sourced drinks sold and local coffee (a very fruity blend not to our usual taste, but great if you don’t mind). Great service from the barista too.
Most enjoyable coffee and croissant. Friendly service. Food brought out for other customers looked good and tempting. Do pop in if you are in Ivybridge you won't be disappointed.
Lovely little cafe in the middle of the town centre. Not a large seating area but I found that better. As it feels more personal. Staff were lovely and very pleasant. I had a lovely coffee with a toasted cheese and ham sammich with crisps and salad. It was very nice and tasty. All in all a lovely place to go to relax. Well reccomend .
Nice coffee, gorgeous toastie and good Panini..... highly recommend this place - we went in last thing on a Saturday and the lady was still happy to do food. Nice atmosphere and very clean. Highly recommend.

All of the staff are both incredibly friendly, and very accomodating. The coffee and food is also brilliant, the best I've found in Ivybridge so far! Prices are really reasonable too, and they have vegan options for drinks, sweet treats, and meals.
Hetties is a really nice independent coffee shop with a nice atmosphere, I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for something to eat or drink in Ivybridge, especially those looking for somewhere dog friendly and/or with special dietary requirements.
Really friendly and helpful service, the best I've received in a long time and fantastic with my very grumpy 2 year old! Had a detox smoothie (seeing as it's January and it sounded tasty!) and it was lovely- would really recommend.
