Lunch was a lux hot chocolate and ham and cheese panini with cranberries and chunky chips- both delicious but the hot chocolate was pure indulgent luxury!
Staff really friendly and dogs welcomed and served fresh dog gin (water) we couldn’t resist taking away a slice of cake for later 😁 if you’re passing- pop in!! Lush place!
Been coming here since 2011 when we were invited in to get a cuppa after getting soaking wet on a motorbike tour - it was shut at the time but the owner opened up to let us in (lovely gentleman). Fantastic selection of foods and ideal for coffee and cake, staff always pleasant and happy to please, my loyalty card takes a pounding. Don't pass through Jedburgh without a stop here..
Amazing food freshly prepared and served by really friendly staff. It's a great place to eat and the cakes are fabulous. I would give six stars if I could. This is one of the best reasons for visiting Jedburgh.
Much more than meringues, rocky roads, cheesecake, millionaires shortbread etc, fresh daily. I had a breakfast roll with bacon and a latte, it really hit the spot. We were seated in the retail area, but apparently there's much more on the other side i.e. a library. It's adjacent to a camping and caravaning ground but it wasn't busy when we were in at 1000.
This is a must, food outstanding, staff friendly and dogs aloud, if you don't like dogs in a restaurant then it's not for you although there is seating outside. You can take cakes away which are so good it would be a shame to miss out on them
We got raspberry roulade to takeaway and it was yummy. We bought some border meringues to takeaway to and had with strawberries and cream when we got back to Glasgow. All the cakes looked amazing. Staff friendly to. Unfortunately I ate my roulade before taking a pic!!
A gem of a Cafe located in the scotish border town of Jedburgh... fabulous fabulous food including strawberry tarts, lemon possets, scones, meringues- Seneca selections of sandwiches and soups. Amazing service friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Called in Wednesday n I was like a kid in a toy shop staff brilliant cakes out of this world 🌎 absolutely beautiful i should have got a boat load but fridge ain't big enough can't recommend enough if ever you are going through jedburgh they are opposite the shell garage call in you will not be disappointed xx
Absolutely love this place and go as often as possible. Really lovely staff, fabulous breakfasts and lunches and the cakes are just to die for! Can’t recommend highly enough!
We found this gem of a place whilst on recent holiday in Jedburgh. We had our dog with us, so it was superb to find a cafe/restaurant which let us take our dog in with us. The owner, and staff couldn't do enough for us. We visited on several occasions for their yummy cakes, and breakfasts - if you like black pudding - you MUST try it. I enjoyed it so much the owner got a full sausage of it in stock for me to buy and bring home. We're heading back in February and will be visiting again without a doubt. Well done to the owner and their staff for providing such a superb service. I'd give you 6 stars if I could.
