For years now I have ran or walked past this little gem and never had a chance to visit it.
Today I finally got to sample their trio of fish salad � great service, tasty food and lively ambiance.
Set around the marina where the sun shone all day.
Just what I needed to end a busy week and to revitalise my soul ��
This lovely place me and my partner found by chance. Julia and her staff were so friendly and really made us feel so welcome. We came back every day on our stay. Nothing was at fault. The food is all home made and the pasta dish I had tasted just like my partner makes. So that definitely was a big thumbs up. Well worth making a visit if you are in St helier. When we come back which we shall, we'll be making a bee line straight here.
Just arrived home from jersey and we are so glad we found the Sailors Rest. Very clean cafe, lovely staff and the homemade food was great. The lady here is very helpful and saved us quite a bit of money with her suggestions and tips about the island. One suggestion was to buy a pay as you go bus card which can be topped up. We went all over the island on the buses using this card which saved us quite a bit of money. If you have time go to this cafe, you will not be dissatisfied or disappointed. Thank you.

Hidden gem by the harbour. Excellent food, service and value. I had the half Lobster salad with a very nice Crisp white wine. Will Definately go back one day.
Great place to eat, good fresh home cooked food and a very friendly atmosphere.
Just had an amazing meal with my family - Julie could not have been more helpful and kind to us and especially our children. The food was true homemade and delicious. Thank you!

Great Food, Friendly Staff.If your looking for a nice spot of lunch then look no further.Just by the Maritime Museum the Sailors Rest is the place to be..Lovely local fresh seafood will have you coming back for more..
A lovely place to stop and dream the time away. Lovely tea, coffee and food and the staff are always very helpful and pleasant. Have been going there every year since we began going to Jersey (about 20 yrs ago when the original cafe was there) and will definitely be going next year! And they say they should have free wifi next year! Five stars all round.
