Best meal you'll have in Jersey. High quality ingredients and genuine attentive staff. Really looked after our two children. Annette and the rest of the floor staff really looked after us and our compliments to the chef - incredible food!
Nice bar but didn’t like being told to finish our drinks at 1105 on a Saturday evening ☹️
Had a fabulous lunch today. Great friendly service and good food with lovely crispy roast potatoes.
We didn't eat, just went for a drink, got chatting to some locals (including a Dentist) and had a great evening. Had a really pleasant evening.

Oh the best meal I've had in ages! Loved the venue...we ate in the bar. Staff great. Loved the feel of a local with a fab menu. I had a lovely prawn cocktail and not served in one of those silly stemmed glasses and 3 of us had the crab spaghetti which was to die for....! Very much recommended.

Fantastic service from Mason behind the bar. His attention to detail was excellent. He poured a pint for me, noticed a small problem with either the beer or the glass, so poured another to make sure I had the best drink possible. Mason's excellent knowledge of cocktails, especially Gin, was also clear to see, offering my wife a selection of Gin and tonics based on her taste preferences.
Cheeky tip, bar food menu is top notch, but Cheffins menu is also available in the bar without a reservation 😀
I went to Cheffins with my partner. This was our first proper meal in our very first visit to Jersey. The food was totally fantastic and the service was superb. My other half is coeliac (physically cannot eat gluten) and staff were completely fantastic. I can't fault this restaurant from the decor to the food. We will be back in future visits!

If you're on Jersey - and even if you're not, but you can access it fairly easily via boats/flights - you simply HAVE to go to Cheffins. This must be one of the best places we've ever eaten, anywhere, ever. In fact, so unbelievably good was it that we visited first on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, for a family dinner... and enjoyed the meal so much that we booked in again for a meal two nights later on the 19th!
It's not just the food which is utterly exceptional, though - although the meals were incredible. If you're a meat-eater, some of the dishes might look pricey on the menu, but the Tribute To Beef and also the Belly Pork are incredible value-for-money, given what you get on each of them (for £24 and £19 respectively). Some of the accompaniments, such as Hispi cabbage in a melted cheese sauce, were utterly heavenly and good enough to eat on their own.
However, the ambience is wonderful too, and the service is genuinely exceptional - the ladies serving were attentive, polite, remarkably efficient AND they spotted we had a 7-year-old lad with us, so they recognised without us asking that serving his main meal with our starters (on both evenings) was paramount; and they then interacted in just the right way with him when serving to keep him entertained and happy.
Absolutely brilliant - whenever we're on Jersey, we'll always be back to Cheffins, but we might even grab flights to and from the island from EMA on the same day, just to go for dinner there! 10/10, every inch of the way.
Perfect. Had the Cote de Boeuf main and Fruits of the Sea starter. The starters was enormous and was a joy to eat. The beef was huge and one of the best beef dishes I've ever had. The waiters were so friendly and helpful I can't think of more they could have done.
Had a great meal on Saturday. Very attentive service, especially from the resident gin expert barman (Mike/Mark?) who put together some great drinks including 2 very clever alcohol free cocktails for the driver. We had the haddock fritter, prawn cocktail. seafood pasta and steak. Desserts were good and well presented. Really relaxed atmosphere and will be visiting again.

Fantastic food with a real luxury feel to the whole experience. The service is prompt, the restaurant is quiet and the cuisine is to die for. We were fortunate enough to be given a free mini-starter on the evening we dined here, which was a very nice touch.
Great menu in an iconic old pub modernised to provide a clean and vibrant dining experience, but with an old cosy bar alongside! OK, update... try the apple pie with creme englais.. really, try it, it's awesome..
