Why - in goodness name - does almost every restaurant in Jersey close at 2pm? Surely in a tourist based economy the restaurants of Jersey would feed tourists at any time of the day!! Perhaps Jersey should consider dragging itself into the 21st century!

Great food tonight and service from Nige. He's only been there less than a week, but he was great! Beautiful old building in a great setting and reasonable price, we'll be back soon!
It's a dog friendly bar with outside dining available and indoor and outdoor children's play area.
Lovely atmosphere. One side is a country pub with a log fire, the other side a super restaurant. Really helpful, friendly and warm staff, who remember your name. The barmaid on duty there today was excellent!
She ran the bar and restaurant alone with efficiency, calm and a genuine care for her customers needs
The food was also excellent and all 4 meals were cooked to perfection and served at the same time

Stopped here for a light lunch before a walk and was so impressed with everything the food was delicious I had an Autumn salad with a fish cake and hubby had the steak baguette really good. It was very quite and a few things missing off the menu but that's not surprising in February
Had a wonderful time and will FOR SURE be back again!!! So so recomendable !! Great food in a fantastic and idyllic location!
