Fantastic, homemade cake and sandwiches. Wide variety of coffee and tea, some cold drinks, too. Staff is friendly, but not of the fastest kind, so bring along some time. While enjoying your coffee and cake, the view of the Orkneys is quite spectacular. Nice spot for a stop and to rest a bit.
"Small bakery, the true gem of this location. Homemade cakes, delicious coffee, and all the essentials for the otherwise abandoned area. Absolutely dog-friendly."
We had coffee and pastries here. They have excellent, friendly service. Their desserts are yummy. The store has tourist items to purchase as well wine and beer. Ice cream Is also right around the corner.
Absolutely fabulous little place! The lady who runs it is very friendly and happy to chat to you. She was also very kind to the dogs, offering them snacks and giving them a love. The food was very tasty. We had carrot and coriander soup with soda bread, which was lush and served at the perfect tempe
The place is very nice and cozy. We tried a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows on top (which I strongly recommend). Also, the chocolate marble tart was delicious 😋 Staff was nice and friendly. All in all highly recommended
Loads of great quality fresh home baked goods and hot drinks to take the edge off the chill on a chilly spring day at the top of Scotland.
Lovely, little, Bright and airy cafe with cheerful and helpful staff. The ambiance is quiet unique, and so are the choices on the menu. They have a surprisingly good selection of local ( from next town, Wick) whisky like Old Pultney. Even the pour, serving etc was very professional, although I was s
A very nice place with top cakes and drinks. The price is also very reasonable, quite a relief after a long journey.
Staff here are very lovely and the atmosphere is cosy and the shop has a wide selection of goodies. However, prices are quite high and have a big up-mark which is unfortunate. The coffee wasn’t that great and the scone was so-so.
Lovely place with beautiful views out over the water. Staff were very friendly. Great soup and drink selection. Dogs are welcome and a nice array of gifts.
This place was highly recommended on a FB group for a stopping place to restock before going to our next adventure. So glad we stopped. Cozy, friendly, with a great selection.
The port and venison pie is a perfect heavy winter warmer. However the weather in this part of Scotland means you don't need to wait for winter to try it.
If I had my own cafe, I would model it after this place and I can think of no greater compliment than that! Loved the decor, the staff, and the hot chocolate!
A cute little café with very friendly staff and well priced food with massive portions!
Excellent option for a tasty and healthy lunch with very friendly service at the „end of Scotland“. What a pleasured surprise as you would not expect this to find among the other shops up there.
Delicious coffee and homemade cakes, very friendly staff, thank you 😄
