Met the new owners tonight.. I don't give 5 stars unless it deserves it.
The chef needs to pat himself on the back because that was some of the freshest, nicest food I have had for years.
The new owners were friendly and really tentative along with the other staff, this is my new favourite place. Can't wait to see their plans cone to fruition in the near future, I am blown away

Stayed in the air BnB which is located onto the pub it was fab, your own space away from home. My thing when I’m away is are the plugs located close enough to the bed and yes they are. Laura was the host who is there to answer any questions you may have. Francis and Laura both are a pleasure to deal with.
Had food in the Waggon and Horses and it was exceptional, fish and chips the first night made by the lovely Lisa, then the Cajun chicken burger the Friday made by Sam it was amazing I want the recipe! Served by Cassie who is so chirpy just a delight to be around. And the Saturday before I left I had the Club sandwich again it was delicious! Will definitely be back.

Friday night steak deal for 2 plus bottle of wine £40 ! Recently taken on by new management but the chef has remained & the food is Excellent as always 10/10

Really friendly staff. Lovely pub. Dog friendly. Food was good. Reasonable prices. We went on a snowy day so it was quiet but does get really busy at the weekends.
