Cracking pub, one of the best we’ve visited! A proper local village pub with fantastic home cooked food, choice of ales, a roaring fire, lovely staff and a friendly landlord; this is a real unassuming hidden gem. Our party had the gammon, fish pie, pies and scampi, all delicious. Puds are great too.
Cracking traditional pub serving excellent solid food at a reasonable price, lovely pint of Boltmaker also and all served by friendly people. The lamb shank was one of the best I've had. Open fire was most inviting.
Great Sunday dinner. Dog friendly. Serves great well kept beer. Highly recommended.
I have been to this hostelry twice now, once with my partner and her father and one just him and myself. It really is a very nice establishment. Spotlessly clean, tastefully laid out and very welcoming. We had lunch on both occasions which was really very nice, a comprehensive menu and quite a good

Quaint little country pub - quiet, warm, cosy. Friendly & welcoming staff who give the place a homely feel and make you want to go back! Quirky decor such as the jug collection! Food was delicious and fast. We were just staying in the area for a few days on a weekend break from Liverpool, but will a
Traditional pub serving traditional pub grub of very good quality. Excellent outside seating area with lovely views across the Aire valley. Good car park.
Nice, friendly, local, community pub. Beer is kept well, food is nice and very welcoming to both locals and outsiders. Nice choice of both food and drink and set in a lovely country setting surrounded by the wonderful Yorkshire Dales. Amble parking. Worth a visit
