Cracking pub, one of the best we’ve visited! A proper local village pub with fantastic home cooked food, choice of ales, a roaring fire,lovely staff and a friendly landlord; this is a real unassuming hidden gem. Our party had the gammon, fish pie, pies and scampi, all delicious. Puds are great too.
Cracking traditional pub serving excellent solid food at a reasonable price, lovely pint of Boltmaker also and all served by friendly people. The lamb shank was one of the best I've had.
Open fire was most inviting.
Great Sunday dinner. Dog friendly. Serves great well kept beer. Highly recommended.

It really is a very nice establishment. Spotlessly clean, tastefully laid out and very welcoming.

My family and I have just had the most enjoyable Sunday lunch. Food was exceptional as was the service . Home made pies highly recommended. Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely historic village pub.

Lovely welcoming traditional pub. We were held up by traffic works so called in as we'd missed our appointment elsewhere. We just had the soup (which was lovely) and coffees. The menu looked good and we will definitely return.
