What a cracking pub.
We come up from London and visit our friends locally who live within a 10 minute walk.
The staff are friendly, they have a great outdoors area with lots of room for kids to run around and the food and drinks are amazing.
We will be back when we next visit!

Called in for lunch. Glorious weather for sitting outside on beautiful terrace area overlooking lawns. Excellent food and service as always with B&P pubs. Will definitely be back again.

Live in Manchester, first time here, would def recommend. Met by all staff with a smile. Great atmosphere. Lots of outside seating with beautiful views. Going up the stairs to the toilets felt as tho you were in an upmarket hotel! Mens (hubby told me! ) & Womens were pristine. Lovely experience

Lovely pub and food was excellent. We received vouchers for £12 off a meal but you have to collect 6 of them and can only be used on Mondays - Thursdays and no Bank holidays. Not such a good deal when you read the small print.

Absolutely lovely place! Very good food & service. I highly recommend the crispy lamb & feta salad.. could have had that as my main! Gorgeous 😍

Lovely lunch in great surroundings, the food was delicious particularly the lamb and portion good, the sea bass was small and not very substantial but tasty. Good selection of puddings making it hard to choose!
The staff are friendly but not over the top- just right.

Wow , our meal was incredible 😍 we where a family if 4. If you want to experience good quality food this place is a definite must even the waiting time was brilliant , you didnt have to wait a while neither.... Staff where lovely and very friendly. ❤️

An amazing selection of good for a restaurant in a small town. I expect it is a local destination itself. I was one of a group of five on a busy Friday night. The staff were clearly stretched by extra people but they were also used to being busy and were still friendly and helpful.
We each had different main dishes - the selection was large and we each enjoyed what we received. I would happily eat here again, and recommend it to my friends.

Was advised to go here by a lady at Morleys garden centre as did not know the area. Great place. Full English breakfast was really good. Well cooked and not greasy. Pot of tea yesss. Friend had the full English veggie version which she said was best she had had. Pleasant attentive staff. Very clean. Able to sit on the terrace, just idyllic. Will certainly visit if in the area again. Highly recommend.

The food is exquisite, the service is amazing and the staff can't do enough to help. We've been here a fair few times and never had a bad experience, belly pork or Sunday dinner highly recommended 👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
