Excellent for veggie, vegan and meaties. Wonderful friendly welcome. Excellent service and great food. Well priced for what you get. Really worth a visit but beware it can be very busy with many booked tables. Kid and book reader friendly. Has a refillery attached.

Kelso's best kept secret. Ive been visiting Kelso annually for years and have never seen this café. So glad a friend recommended Cafe U. Delicious food and coffee. Very warm welcome. Delightful and wheelchair accessible too.

Lovely food and staff today. Falafel burgers and salad were excellent. Don’t miss the gem of a place if you are in Kelso. Thanks to staff for such a pleasant experience.

The staff are very friendly. Despite us coming in late and being out of most salads they made some wonderful vegan plates for us. We all enjoyed the food very much and the soft music they had on was nice too.

My favourite cafe in Kelso. Always a warm welcome and the food is excellent. I like the option of quiches with or without pastry and there’s always a good mix of side salads. Good cakes. I also really like the shop which sells a huge range of loose and environmentally friendly products

A really welcoming place, with 2 tables outside and plenty of space inside. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and great with the kids. Tasty soup and falafel burger, good standard of coffee, excellent cakes. A lovely selection of locally-made and ethical gifts for sale, as well as eco, plastic-free groceries. Great for kids - plenty of highchairs, space and understanding staff 😊

Had a really nice lunch, the food was excellent but I was charged £2 for a glass of tap water.
